Question about Caleb Tannor. Im not questioning his ability the guy has all the tools.
But if we have Joiner buck, Newkirk and Miller inside, and Oladele on strongside, why is Tannor a take?
Just curious.

I don't think he's a take right now. With 4 spots left & 2 of those guaranteed to go to a CB & a OT, Tannor is far from a lock. Also AU apparently really likes 3* Caleb Johnson as well who is kind of a wildcard player that could be a Buck or grow into a DT.
As for why another DL, Garner wants 5 in this class tho he admitted in the spring that it's hard to always get all the numbers you want because have to balance with other positions of need. AU is about to lose a bunch of dudes on DL to graduation & NFL so I am sure he wants as many pieces in place as possible before that happens.
I will be honest in saying I have no idea what AU decides to do here at the end. Like I said above, we know for sure 2 spots will go to OT & CB. After that it might be best available. They still have to decide whether to take Alaimo & whether or not to leave a spot open for a grad transfer on the OL. Fascinated to see how this ends up shaking out

I honestly feel our class is underrated but maybe it will provide them with some motivation to prove doubters wrong, leading up to their arrival to Auburn. Hit those weights!!!

Upside isn’t as high as others... but he’s gonna be a good college WR.

I'm wondering if AU is gonna have a big 2019 junior day event instead. Then next weekend try & have another big weekend with the remaining top targets all coming to campus

Jan 19 weekend used to be Auburn’s big red carpet weekend. Early signing day has changed a lot.

FWIW his coach apparently posts on 247. Says recruitment is wide open & FSU is out of it (my guess is because Jimbo left). Apparently he likes Kodi & plans to OV soon

Dude Gouraige is from Florida, the snow is already gone here in Atlanta. The weather is supposed to be awesome this weekend, like the best you could every possibly hope for in January, and we have a big home basketball game against UGA. Big frick up if we cancelled his visit.
