Speaking of AU guys and leaving. If Steele were to actually get the Tenn job what would yall think about T-Rob getting the DC job? Not sure he would even leave his buddy Muschamp but would you trust that he's ready to do it on his own?

NO, the loose coverage that Muschamp and T-Rob runs sucks.

REALLY hoping it doesn't come to this

Would have to watch some SCAR film before having an opinion. I definitely support anyone who will continue to use the same scheme Muschamp/Steele have implemented over the past 3 seasons. T-Rob could be that guy

But again, let's hope Tennessee doesn't frick up so bad that we lose Steele

Weren't his secondaries really good at UF? Maybe he had to run that here and at USCe due to talent level...

That’s what I assume. You keep the ball short when you don’t have the talent to play man coverage.

KS has made it pretty clear that he wants to retire in Alabama. Unless Tenn does something stupid and offers him 3 or 4 million per year I think we're good

Yea, I just don't see him having a real desire to jump ship to a program like that, to try and rebuild it especially at his age. With so much momentum we have right now on the defensive side of the ball, he has a pretty sweet gig. He has pretty full authority of the defensive side of the ball here.

If we're going with a former player, lets do Garner or T-Will and bring Kevin Greene home.

I would absolutely love it, but I don't see Kevin Greene being too interested in recruiting demands

2 interesting tidbits from Bama 247 recruiting chat. Hank South mentions AU for both Emory Jones & Kelvin Joseph. Thinks as of now Jones flips to Bama & Joseph recommits to LSU but said AU is threat for both

I would love to steal Joseph but until I actually hear he's taken a visit won't get my hopes up

If we can't get a second QB commit this year and if Stidham declares at the end of the season, I really worry about our QB depth next year. Gatewood won't be ready and if MW gets hurt our season might look like FSU's this year. We really need to put a premium this year on getting a second QB recruit

Is there a juco version any where close to Stidham if he does leave?

Gotta think JS will need one more year. No way he would be a first round pick.

There don't appear to be any decent options in JUCO. The best QB is a 3* and he is in California.

Eason might well be the worst choice in the history of choices to play in a Malzahn/Lindsey offense.

This has nothing to do with Eason, and all to do with Rustling them.

Yep. Statue with a big arm and questionable accuracy.
