He's just meh. Kids a gamer, but not overly talented and always hurt.

There is zero hate. I love the guy. He is a fantastic kid. He throws the ball well, he is a damn gamer and loves to play.
He just is not the guy we need. I said it from the first game he played for us, (Kentucky where we one and he played well), and I have never, EVER, said it any different. He is a fantastic kid and good QB.
He is just not the kid we need.

White is a solid QB in the wrong system. He should grad transfer to Miami to play for Mark Richt, where he would excel

I bet that first week of practice for a high school kid, especially a QB, on a loaded D1 team is very eye opening.

I don't think Chip was lying, he'd give a fair shake to anyone and probably believes talent wise the kid is good enough to start day 1.
I doubt Chip actually believes any true FR walks in and starts though

This is correct. Not all of it is his fault and I wanted him to be the star that he has the heart to be.

Yup, that's why I posted. It's refreshing to hear. I imagine Chip wants more guys like Stidham, Chad Kelly, Baker Mayfield, Seth Russel.
Guys that can spread you out, run a little, and get the ball out quick.
It was so frustrating playing against guys like C. Kelly knowing you can bring the house and he likely still gets rid of the ball.

I think that what Lindsey will run is a very good fit for him....HOWEVER this year we have a much better QB than he is and that wasn't the case last year.

Glad to see Chip sees that on the roster. Not necessarily glad to see him relay that to recruits who will freely pass quotes along to the press.

Ya I hope there was some creative liberty there by recruit. I can't imagine everyone not named Stidham on campus being happy about those quotes if true. I imagine there's a way you could pitch to a kid without running down current players
