Wonder what the last straw was? Seemed like we had a shot then it fell off with the quickness

Watched curry's highlights.

-above average footwork, love his movement in the pocket
-keeps eyes downfield when flushed out/rolling out
-big arm
- gets out of his mechanics easily
- bunch of back foot throws
- awkward arm slots at times

We get Trey Hill and Wonnum to go with Jalil and Stutts Im gonna be quite the happy camper. They sure seem to be giving us a lot of interest.

Kind of concerned about the future of our line at this point. Last year Ashley showed up late and fat. Brahms had a significant knee and leg injury. Troxell had two surgeries on same knee and has not played a down.

Could be some playing time if people showed up early and in shape.

Fields did not want to compete against Malik and Gatewood. Also Stidham is probable the QB next year. Still surprised he didn’t pick FSU.

Are you suggesting he would rather compete vs Fromm/Eason than Malik/Gatewood

Not sure about that. UGA has a pretty crowded QB situation. I think it's more everyone around him is pushing UGA and the Dawgs have sold him on how they are gonna get him on the field no matter what. He's got a lot of buddies going to UGA in this class and next year's class plus his sister is already committed to go there. I thought there was a chance his dad could be convinced but this was an uphill battle

Honestly I am too. That's who I always thought he would end up signing with because of their QB situation and Jimbo's NFL reputation. Wonder if the distance proved too much

My guess is our slow start turned them off. Would have been nice for him to have at least given us an in season visit but it's been clear for awhile where his heart is. The good news is we already have a very talented kid committed so Fields would have been a huge bonus. Still stings especially since we are gonna have to deal with him over next 4 years and his commitment is gonna help Smart reel in a ton of big fish in this year's and next year's class. Gotta beat those frickers this year

Keep telling yourself that. I think its clear he just wanted to be at Georgia. Honestly, even if we would have started off the season strong and beaten Clemson I still don't ultimately believe he would have signed with us. If he were truly that serious about potentially playing for Auburn he wouldn't have based his decision off two lackluster performances, especially when our offense has looked great the last 2-3 weeks.

Eason is going to transfer back to the West Coast then Fields is 1 injury away from being the starter. He could even beat out Frohm

Fromm's completion percentage against Tennessee was under 50%. UGA is winning because of their run game and defense. Not because of their QB play. Fields could easily beat out Fromm next year.

Sounds like not a sure thing Miller visits this weekend. UF working hard to get him to take official for LSU game. Miller told KN last night that UF is still his top school but he hasn't decided yet on what school he will commit to next week

KN says keeping his CB on AU for now but that 8 days is a long time
