Anytime you ingonre the DL, it is a very weak class. This is the second time in 3 years we have done this. We did the same thing with lbers last year. Eventually it will catch up to us.

If 2016 healthy Sean White level passing game is what we do in 2017, it may be time for Gus to go

not sure what this means. Healthy White was playing good ball and we were hanging a lot of points out there. Adding some better routes and passing plays coupled with a play caller that mixes up the plays a little better can really open up the offense.

Signing Johnson, and maybe Bryant in a weak 2017 DL class, along with the OL/LB signees is not weak.

If a kid is not capable of developing into a player, Garner won't waste his time. You can continue to doubt him, but do so at your own ignorance.

3* DT Tyrone Truesdell is officially visiting this weekend also. As of now it's not known if he is a take

My point is if it hasn't happened after 5 years, 2 OCs, supposedly 3 play callers and multiple options at QB, it won't happen in the future

My criticism wasn't of White but that if a team stopped our run game, we couldn't rely on our passing game to outscore the opponent.

With our run game vs a lot of mediocre at best defenses

how can you say we didn't get Top end guys

My original thought was "get a ton of top end guys." We definitely got a couple, but past them we have very few guy that are in the upper echelon compared to years past

gain depth on the OL, and at LB?

I said we hit some key needs and got depth.

I don't doubt we will have guys that were 3* that play like high 4*/5*s.

The probability of having a class of 3*s play like high 4*/5* is pretty low though.

I don't think Gus is running anything at this point. I don't think he has an eye for talent, he's not involved in defense, and has turned offensive recruiting over to the new OC (i.e. Shenker). They might as well roll in a cardboard cutout of Gus to these recruits houses because that's about as useful as he is right now.

He's been to AU a bunch but we have never pushed hard. My bet is if we miss on either Johnson or Bryant we give him commitable offer. Thats a guess tho

KN reporting Tyler Taylor might now be officially visiting Ole Miss... No idea how big a threat they are but I think they need LBs

I remember his name out there a lot early on in the process but hadn't heard from him in a while. Figured his stock had dropped but I'd rather have him than either of these other two recent offers.

Came to read up on what's going on and ended up seeing this thing of beauty. This is a pure and unadulterated melt. Thanks for the laugh.
