Might be an awful nightmare but I woke up this morning wondering what our record the last two years would have been with Clemson's coaches at every position.

I think he has just given up or going for everything or broke next season. The coaches coming in are getting raises and on the hot seat anyways for next year.

Grimes and Gus are both from Arkansas, both went to Henderson St, both coaches at Arkansas and Gus hired Grimes at both Arkansas St and Auburn
But ya, Gus has more "connection" with the guy from New York because they coached at Tulsa for two years together

True. I actually think we were 3 key pieces from being right in the top 10 mix, especially if you look at the fact our losses sans LSU were all close. We were in it with Bama all game.
QB: IMO we shouldn't have coddled Johnson so much. He might be dumb but I can't remember another program having so many scared QBs after a couple years of development on the team, e.g. Frazier. Sean White can do work in a Gus Tulsa system. He can't with our current selection of plays. Let's hope JF3 or Woody show promise although I suspect our QB coaching needs some tweaking.
WR: Duke leaving left us with Louis (who had the drops) and a bunch of Wes Welker type guys. Stevens needs to find the gym. Any of the elite guys we sign will play next year. It will be refreshing to have some true WR recruits out there and if we get NCM, boom. I would mention the TE position but I forgot what that is.
Secondary: Davis is a stud and everyone else has some talent but we haven't signed anyone elite here in awhile, especially at safety. If our DEs performance matches their recruiting ranking, we should theoretically be top 5 off the edge in the country next year and make S/CB job easier.
Really hope we close this class with MLB, one more DT, 2 secondary players, an OT, and NCM.
