I'll believe it when his LOI comes in. I could see Steele being a plus but have a hard time believing he goes anywhere but UM.

If you have a 3.15 GPA in core classes, you need to get a 12 of the max 36 score on the ACT to qualify (48 total points)
A 12 is your expected average based on guess during the ACT
If you have a 2.5 GPA, you need to get a 17. So slightly better than guess on ACT

It's likely BS. As someone mentioned on 247 Gary's mom admittedly has never met Steele. Now, when the dead period ends CKS will have a shot to swoon her but right now I call BS.

What's amazing is that I was part of a group that took the ACT in 8th grade for some study for Duke and made an 18, my buddy made a 26 at the time. I can't figure out how kids make a 12 when they are juniors and seniors in high school.

You have to take him to get NCM. And his brother isn't a bad prospect so yeah. We should take him.
