Overall I feel pretty good about defense. Some inexperience but talent at LB. Will be interesting to see with new DC where a guy like Jeff Holland lands as he really strikes me more as a 3-4 OLB

We should have some decent depth up front & in the secondary with Ruffin & Roberts coming on. Hopefully TJ Davis is back 100% with Dinson. The key is Lawson staying another year & staying healthy. If he comes back & is healthy we will have enough defense to win if Gus fixes QB issue

totally agree. Especially Tre, Darrell and Holland. I think Davis will be solid too.

There are a number of names on that list that have shown some flashes and others like McBryde/Darrell were both highly praised for people who never saw the field

Biggest worry I have is DT position, which is major concern if Adams does declare.

Russell and Lawrence looked solid at the end of the year, but Swain is a joke, Jauntavius Johnson is unknown and young and we legit have no one else.

Even if we sign Derrick Brown/Antwuan Jackson, true freshmen are rarely rotational let alone impact players at DT

Broussard is sticking

Just tweeted he will be enrolling at Auburn and had a pic of all his papers signed.

IF Monty goes pro we still have

Dontavious Russell
Andrew Williams
Devenroe Lawrence

All 3 are solid

Then we have backups in

Jaunty Johnson and Maurice Swain.

Depending on how Cowarts off season goes he could move inside but last I hear he was down a bunch of weight.

IF we get Derrik Brown he's big enough to play immediately. Marlon Davidson could play some inside as well on passing downs. Would be nice grab a stout JUCO DT but overall things could be worse. Maybe Monty stays and we Staaaasscked

That's true. Russell & Lawrence up the middle is a formidable group but after that we do have some question marks. I think Andrew Williams improved some late as well. My hope is out of Swain/Williams/Johnson/Brown/Jackson you could find 1-2 guys to give solid reps.

I wonder if we try to add a 4th DT with Tashawn Manning out. I hope we take a JUCO just for Brannigan's sake

Outstanding

I know he has fallen in the rankings some but I still think he has good upside. Love his size. Wish TRob was developing him though

I translated that tweet.

He had 3 bucknut emojis.

3 dawg emojis.

3 gator emojis.

FOUR tiger emojis.

His intent is crystal clear.

We stopped recruiting Jackson anyway, and was falling off the board.

We have others ahead of Jackson at this time.

He has grade issues anyway.

Dude is a marshmallow and wouldn't have been productive anyway.

Slow down. Those are for tomorrow

Just checked the OSU board to see what they feel about the announcement tomorrow. They basically are saying the same thing as our guys. Very tight battle. Some confidence on both sides but more confidence on AU's side.
