247 says that Manuel and Smith are saying they are visiting for the Iron Bowl but the staff isn't confident that Manuel actually will

His brother played at and now works at AU, his mom was an AU fan and wanted Marlon to go to Auburn and Marlon committed to Auburn.

The only way we lose Marlon is if our situation is such a dumpster fire that even his brother tells him not to come to Auburn. This is a real possibility

He has said before that his brother is putting no pressure on him to come to AU.

Then what is he around for? To show our players the best way to get up after being knocked to the ground?

Just because there isn't pressure doesn't mean it isn't a huge deal in his recruitment.

I'll want him at Auburn and know all of those factors, just my uninformed analysis of his quotes since his commitment.

But I can't find my tea leaves, they're around here somewhere.

I totally get what you were saying last page. I've kind of gotten that vibe from him as well. It's a vibe that says all things point to AU but i'm still not sure kind of vibe.

Kind of like Kyle Davis with UGA. He could end up at UGA although you feel like he really wants to go somewhere else.

Yeah I didn't mean to imply that. Having his bro on staff is obviously a huge deal as it should be.

Honestly he probably gets more pressure from Ben Davis and Mack Wilson to go to Bama than he does from his bro to go to AU.

Hopefully the defensive recruits are seeing the vast improvement over the course of the season and will want to be a part of it.

Is Kyle there? There was some serious doubt he could make it since he had a playoff game last night

There were a lot of important UGA vs AU recruits at that game.

I really hope the coaches can somehow sell these kids on "you can come here, play early and make a big impact" but I'm leaning towards theyll think "shite im going to come in here and get coached like shite."

I know someones going to come in here and say game performances don't matter as much, but this one.. Idk. I thought we would win and the recruiting ball would start rolling. Might just be on defense now. frick.

Malzahn isn't a new exciting mystery anymore, there's a lot of questions out there.

On the positive side Georgia's passing looked like crap too.

Our D recruits probably came and saw we have made huge steps.

Our offensive guys probably though "If I do well in the first half does that mean I sit the second?
