Other than lsu and bama (we'll see what happens with UGA)... our class will be comparable to the other 10 teams we play next year.

Exactly and we've never recruited on the level that LSU and Bama are recruiting right now.

nope. If you're in the top 15, nationally, recruiting wise on a consistent basis, you're a title contender roster-wise (pending attrition, etc).

And we were ranked 11th in the nation last year, but we were only ranked 5th in the conference. We have to do better than just be ranked in the top 15.

That gives UAB 2 5* Commits

Trinity Valley (Texas) Community College QB Jérod Evans was just informed by Auburn offensive coordinator/quarterbacks coach Rhett Lashlee that the Tigers will not be signing a junior college QB in the 2016 class.

Evans-Auburn is over.

Well hopefully when Lashlee leaves they'll re-evaluate. Again, through no fault of White's, our offense will be really bad next year unless we sign Stove and Davis and they can come in and play from Day #1.

White, with Gus coaching and the receivers that are on our roster right now for next year will be a big time disaster.

I really like Sean White, I just in no way trust Lashlee-Gus to fully utilize his skills and design an offense around him.

We better hire a legit passing OC who can make real changes to the offense if we are going to pass up model DT QBs

Where is that from?

I'm on the White train so I don't think we need a JUCO. I think Gus will get it figured out

Damnit fire Lashlee. We aren't taking Evans because we're going to sign 5"11 170lb John Franklin who will be moved to wr just like the other 4 former qbs we have at wr now. An people wonder why we drop so many passes.

I think we're not signing Evans because we don't want Evans.

We need an offense that is closer to what Bryan Harsin ran with Kellen Moore. Great balance and very very good passing game/concepts.

If only there was a former Auburn Offensive GA under Gus who is OC under Bryan Harsin at Boise State.....

It would be nice but nope. Oregon's 4 classes leading to it's playoff appearance last year was 12th, 13th, 19th, & 21st (2nd, 3rd, 4th, & 4th in PAC 12). We were 11th in 2012 (4th in the SEC), 2 classes before our title game appearance. Our 4 year classes in the SEC were 3rd, 2nd, 4th, & 4th leading to the title game. Nearly the same as Oregon relative to conference recruiting standings rank. FSU was 11th in 2013.

In leu of fairness I will say tOSU & FSU were #1 in conference recruiting all 4 years leading to their titles & playoff appearance in FSU's case.. Bama was #1 in 3 of their 4 years.

My theory is since there are 4 teams involved instead of 2 there will likely be room for 1 team to make the playoffs each year that did not recruit on an elite level.
