Just seems like a wasted spot to me. Either sign a better dual threat qb or another wr. This is Lashlees project BTW..He was at the game a few weeks ago when JF3 ran for 5 TDs. A few hours later he had an offer.

I don't think it would bother me so bad if we were winning games and had a decent defense. Just feels Luke we have much bigger needs than a 5'11 180lb speedster

Nothing wasted yet. We don't even know if it's a commitable offer yet. My guess is it's not & I think we would only take him if we did not get a 2nd or 3rd WR we like in this class.

Gus had to sign off on it too so it's on Gus as well.

Damn! Time flies in your world doesn't it. That game was 5 days ago and the offer was 4.

So we can't use a kid who'd walk in being the fastest player on the team, has experience as a P5 WR, Could be serviceable backup QB and demonstrates playmaking ability?

As E said, this likely is a failsafe in case we lose guys like Eli Stove to UF, Kyle Davis to UGA and miss on Tre Nixon and others

Didn't we recruit pretty well last cycle on OL? Did we sign all guards?

Most guys from 2015 seem to project inside.

Leff is getting a bunch of reps this season when we overload... he could be project at RT next season.

If both tackles leave, someone will need to step up... which with white at QB, were probably gonna throw more

The only guy who looks like he will end up at OT from 2015 is Mike Horton.

One thing to think about is if someone can do better at OC, moving Golson to OT.

Forgot about him but he always seemed like a guy who wouldn't make an impact until JR/SR year. He didn't do so hot at the under armour all american game

I loved our OL class last year.

Sharp was a composite 4* he's got good size moves well and plays tough.

Kaleb Kim another composite 4* if i'm not mistaken he played some center this spring for us.

Tyler Carr Composite 4* he bounced between us and Bama for a while. There was a running joke on the recruiting board with AU/UA fans saying we don't want him yall take him ect.. Nobody was really impressed with his film.

Marquell Harrell 4* He committed to us kind of early then later released a top 10 and we weren't even in it

Mike Horton 3* Decommitted from UF then we kind of stole from UT late in the cycle. He worked his way in with the 2s and 3s in spring ball.

JB Grimes said in the spring this group had a chance to really be special

Harrell and Carr have the potential to be elite run blocking guards... especially Harrell.

Here's some exciting news...

We've started recruiting a teammate of Rashaan Gary. His name is Donald Stewart 3* WR from NJ. Keith says he's 6'3.5 190lbs but Hudl list him at 6'5. Lance Thompson seen him play in person 3 weeks ago and the 2 have been communicating ever since. No offer yet but Thompson told Stewart that we like his film and want to see him in person again. Stewart says if we offer he'll be very interested. He has a 3.6 GPA Stanford leads in Crystal Ball projections with Michigan 2nd.

Stewart had this to say about Rashaan Gary “We’ve been friends since the sixth grade,” Stewart said. “It would be great if we could play together in college."

Thompson wants Stewart to visit for the IB.

I am as big an Auburn homer as there is......but I would question his intelligence if he didn't go to Stanford.

Can't do that. 1 visit per recruit in this period. There is more opportunities in the next period but football season is over by then.nThe actual wording in the article was evaluate him more which in this case means more film study and do research on the type of person he is.
