I'm in the same boat. And I don't want to direct this toward Ellitor because he's providing information, not creating it. And I think we are all very appreciative of that. But these sort of things are why I stopped following recruiting as closely as I once did. After a while, most of the information I was receiving was gossip about personal lives, alleged financial transactions, attitude issues, etc. It's a new trend that was going to develop as soon as recruiting blew up the way it has. It was a natural next step for recruiting sites to capitalize on.

Thanks for the lesson & making me aware. I;m not sure what to do. If I leave out whys when asked of something in a report I feel i should post it anyway if there is a why in the article. When it looks or appears shady i guess i should make double sure I put FWIW with the why of something.

You dont need to do anything differently. You didnt do anything wrong. Its a internet message board and in the grand scheme of things, no one cares about message board gossip or whatever. We appreciate you giving us the info so we can talk about it. It isnt a big deal if you ask me.

Some people just play shoot the messenger up in here. I'm sure your idea of putting FWIW to qualify info would help redirect some negabarnin'

But to what JGT said, he probably is right that he rubbed our staff the wrong way. Doesn't change the fact that if he legit had AU #1, we still would be recruiting him

Sorry if you misinterpreted my earlier rant as something directed towards you. You are all good my issue is with the actual content. Keep doing what you are doing I know I greatly appreciate it. My main point was I wish our beat writers would not have to come up with all sorts of excuses why we miss on guys.

You don't need to change anything. Like I said, you're just posting information. And we all very much appreciate it I was just making sure you were aware that my statements weren't directed toward you.

Everything on this has been good. I think people are sensitive to not offending me because I have been an emotional bitch at times.

How does he compare to Tony Bridges?

Is Miller destined for an Eric Smith type role?

I would love to have another Eric Smith that could move around the field and still lay down a hell of a block. That dude seemed to make our offense click before Prosch came around.

From Keith:

@Keith247Sports: Two commitments for #Auburn today. Some buzz a 3rd is possible LINK LINK

Rumors swirling that former Clemson WR Demare Kitt was on campus today and may have committed. - Thats not from Keith, from the bunker so who knows if it's true.
