So, he'll redshirt in 2015... then have two to play two, I'm guessing?

Kinda like signing a juco OL in the 16 class....
Si. Kinda wish he was a tackle, but he's 6'5 320 so maybe he can? Either way, great depth builder regardless

Greg Robinson was projected as a guard by some places. If he is athletic and has length he will be fine at tackle maybe RT

We know Golson can play tackle, so if this guy ends up being good on the inside, maybe he can take over there and free Golson up to move outside when Avery Young / Shon Coleman leave.

Huge news! Former 5* and I believe he can play OT if needed. Hope he can get healthy in his year off.

Arms are too small to be an OT

Either way we need to stay on these guys even if they commit to UGA. If they field a solid D there's a decent chance some schools big enough to tempt Pruitt might be interested.

Pruitt will probably go back to Bammer if he doesn't get a head coaching job before Smart.

There is no way Pruitt goes back to bama, unless it's as the HC and Saban isn't there. Let's just say he wouldn't be on Saban's short list of suggestions either. He'll get a HC gig before too long regardless.

If Bama and Saban need a DC and they offer Pruitt you better believe he'll drop UGA in a heartbeat and head home to Tuscaloosa. Jeremy Pruitt is a bammer through and through and he has too much Bama in him to turn down that offer.

I had Jeremy Pruitt for weight training for two years at Hoover HS and all he talked about was Alabama football and how he left a full ride at some mid major school to walk on at Bama and realize his childhood dream and how proud it made his bammer daddy. Just like any bammer he'd jump on command for Nick Saban.

I'll tell you what though, I hope he is Bama's next HC. He's a good DC and an incredible recruiter but I don't think he has what it takes to be a HC. He's never been a HC at any level that I know, at least not since he came to Hoover HS over a decade ago. I think you'd see similar results to the last time Bama hired a Bama man.

The OP's point was apparently there is bad blood b/w Nick & Pruitt & that Saban would not hire him back. I'm not sure that's true but just clarifying the OP's post.

There is no way that I would believe that Pruitt, whose been successful everywhere, would take a 3rd DC position. His recruiting, defense and "experience under top coaches" would suggest he will get a UNC type job soon

I've heard from several people that Saban and Pruitt didn't end on good terms. Which makes sense why Pruitt would ever leave in the first place. Coaches egos. Like you said, I'm not so sure he would be a great HC and like GC said, he'll probably go somewhere like Southern Miss or UNC. He could eventually end up back at bama as a DC after that and after Saban retires. That's the way I see it anyway.

Leaving for FSU's DC position isn't a good reason to leave a job as a position coach?

No doubt, the promotion was reason enough and that goes without saying. I was referring to the reasons why he might've made himself available and interested in other jobs, even though he is coaching at his dream school.

So with our top targets at QB getting ever so closer to a decision, who would you take and where do you think they will go?

I want Pass, but even if he does commit to us (or anyone) soon, his recruitment won't be over until his LOI is faxed and there's confirmation he only faxed 1 LOI
