I love the Dion Jordan mold lengthy DE and Key is that type, he absolutely showed out at the UA game. I just am pointing out we have similar type players on the roster, maybe not as talented but in the same mold.

I'd like to hear KN's take on Key in the buck position . Key's strength, like KN said, is his first step. Don't see justification for asking him to potentially go into coverage. His other A+ quality is his length. I imagine using his length for outside containment as DE would work better than the potential interior gap responsibility that Buck has at times which favors lower center of gravity players

E, I just am interested in KNs opinion and I trust his opinion more than my passing thoughts. I just know the Buck from what I read and watched UF play. I haven't heard what Muschamps dream skill set and plans for the position are and trying to learn more.

Tl;dr I am trying to learn more and want to hear smarter people's take and get educated

NSD predictions from Twitter

quote:

@Smuphy: @cass_sheridan @GabeThaGreat Cowart, Ryan Davis, Tega, Holland, Davante Davis,

@GabeThaGreat: @Smuphy @cass_sheridan I would add Jefferson and cut Godwin

@kkolumbo: @GabeThaGreat @Smuphy @cass_sheridan IMO Cowart, Ivey, Tega, Holland, both Davis', and I think a surprise in Jefferson.

FWIW Hoke says some on the AU staff believe for the moment AU has turned Ivey and will land him

heard Hoke talking about this on the Roundtable, i hafta admit i`ve always kinda thought of Hoke a little on the arrogant side, but he`s seems a pretty impressive guy when you hear him. Hope he`s right.

Predictions with two weeks of OVs left are pretty meaningless.

Chidi is a bama lock unless he and Prince tega really want to play together. In that scenario bama would have to make room for Prince

Don't see them making room. They already may have to ask someone to greyshirt

Any kid that falls for the grey shirting routine is a moron... I asked a couple days ago if anyone who has gray shirted at bama ever contributed significantly... the only response I got was JP Wilson who signed in like 2004.

I was just perusing shaggybevo, they claim Mack canceled his visit to us. Is this correct?

He comes off arrogant when he writes because he is so ultra competitive in trying to be first and have the company he works for be the first and best, but yes, in person or audio he is very nice and friendly.

While Chidi is probably a Bama lean I don't think he's anywhere close to being a lock.

Wonder if Arky hires Lilly from UGA how that will impact Godwin?

From what I have read, the Dawgs do not want to lose Lilly.

Let's not make this a Bama bashing thing. Grayshirts rarely contribute for any big school anymore.

you mean godwin?... pretty sure lilly is the lead on TG.

that article was pure speculation though.... no real indication lilly has any interest in being arky's OC... same deal with Kiffin as OC in SF... no hint if he's even interested in making that change.

I'm officially preparing to land none of them and hoping for the best.

This has been my stance. I'm choosing to not believe anything that these guys are saying. We'll hear "up until the last min. They were all AU" from the beat writers and experts.

I have to say after Foster and Evans, I agree. While I very much enjoy keeping up with recruiting this time of year (since there isnt anything else other Auburn Football going on,) I wont be losing any sleep over any of this. None of it REALLY matters until we get the LOI.

These kids change their minds from one minute to the next. After the Evans fiasco, I reckon I'm just jaded.

Judging by the past few days just about anything gives you erect. Not that there's a problem with that. Jus sayin.
