A buddy of mine at work says he is some kind of royalty.
I'm telling him it is the kids given name.
Please clear this up for us.
Is Prince his given name or is he some kind of royalty?
This is all you need to know on how we got him.

That first day of practice, we put him in the third group, running routes with the guys. When our kids catch it, they have to get into the end zone," Carr said. "So when he caught it, our secondary coach said, 'Get in the end zone Tega.' And he stopped and said, 'Where is the end zone?' So that tells you how far he's come."
Junior burst on to the scene for the Wildcats, helping them win a fifth-straight state title. He made an impact his first game by returning a fumble for a touchdown, something he learned about just the day before. The first game also had a bit of a learning curve.
"He also kicks off for us, and they blew the whistle to kick, and he didn't know. We didn't tell him that you kick it when you blow the whistle," Carr said. "And he's still standing there looking at the sidelines. It's was pretty comical. You just expect your kids to know these things."
His 82 tackles, four sacks and eight fumble recoveries got him named second-team All-State and shot him up recruiting boards, earning a 4-star rating.

"Physically, Wanogho looks like a man playing against boys. He’s built like a lineman, but runs like a skill player. It’s obvious the game is new to him because he doesn’t have a feel for blocks and even regular pursuit angles. That doesn’t stop him form pursuing the ball though. His speed makes him an outstanding chase player and he shows good effort hustling to make plays that a lot of other players would give up on.
His pad level, hand usage, and overall technique is at a lower level right now because of infancy playing the game, but he still flashes great playmaking ability by out-athleting his opponents. He flashes incredible explosion at times and outstanding lateral movement to get off of blocks as well.
It’s not surprising that as a pass rusher he is incredibly raw, but he can bend naturally around the edge.
It’s obvious when watching his film he has special raw tools to work with, but has plenty of things to learn about playing football."

I had a Nigerian guy named "Prince" work for me a few years ago. He said that his father was some kind of tribal leader that translated into English as "King". He said many/most young men in that role used Prince as a first name in the US and UK because it was easier for English-speakers to pronounce than their first names. TIFWIW

I lurk and passively get irritated by half the dumb shite some of you post. In the recruiting thread you dolts act like this is the first signing day you've followed. Calm the eff down, the last few weeks are filled with craziness every year.

So you complain about dolts and then contribute as such. You're off to solid footing here
