Now I have no hope of getting any of them. Sounds like a lot of trolling now.

Some quotes from a UF mod in a Hoke article about T-Rob:
quote:

"He's good at connecting with recruits from wherever they're from, but especially from the inner city," Stampini said. "Travaris is rather young, and, coming from Miami, he understands their upbringing and what they have to go through. He does a great job of connecting with them."
quote:

"At the end of the cycle, they would put Travaris on the big guys, regardless of what side of the ball," Stampini said. "They'd put Travaris on the prospect to help close the deal. He's just a real personable guy and fun guy to be around. He understands how to recruit
quote:

"The defensive backs and kids from South Florida, Robinson laid the groundwork and did some heavy lifting early on. When the season was over, he didn't have to just cover his region, he would go in and be a big part and help close the deal not in his region. He sticks to his area and region during the season, but in crunch time, they spread him out all over the place and he's key in recruitment down the stretch."

Man, kids will have a hard time saying no when we send T-Rob, Craig, Muschamp and Garner to close on a recruit. Hopefully they can work some magic this month.

4 years out of date. As the rule is now any transfer football player who goes on scholly before his 2nd year is completed at his new school counts as part of the 25 limit pending on what semester he goes on scholly. The only way Taylor would not count on the 2015 class of 25 for Bama is if he does not go on schoilly til January 2016 or waits til then to enroll.

FWIW Jason Caldwell thinks Auburn has a great shot to get Arden Key.

Seems like the only way we get him is if we get BC too.

I don't know about that. There is still uncertainty with some SC cpmmits even though Spurrier changed his tune about the 2 or 3 years statement. Hence the 75% committed statement by Key.

Recruiting going well for us? I don't really follow recruiting anymore so I was just curious because I saw an article somewhere that said Muschamp addition hasn't sparked recruiting for Auburn.

There is a chance it turns into a huge boom for us. Being Auburn though we probably end up worse than. If we kept ej

since he has only been at AU during dead period for recruiting, i'm not sure why anyone would expect him to start reeling in 5*s left and right.

Johnathan Taylor is expected to enroll at bama any day.

Were we not talking to him pretty seriously until the fallout of the Ray Rice incident?
No. There was talk about him visiting, but that was it. I don't remember anything else besides that.

Joey, you get out of here with that sound logic and obvious explanation. This is the land of irrational pipe dreams, dancing and sad

ETA: But I agree with Joey. Until we see a visitor list for 1/16 and the reactions from the recruits it is unfair to judge Muschamp's recruiting
