Would be nice and might help with other DL recruiting but I wouldn't count him as a commit even if he picked us today. Seems like the first time Bama came after him hard he'd be gone.

Good for him . Smart choice to go to a school that offers near unparalleled education and exposure for the NFL

It's almost comical at this point. How many years in a row has Saban had at least one recruit pull that stunt?

I'm under the impression that it's planned.

People just have to find certain players to worry about. Stop worrying about Jovon. He is All AU. The 3 most in danger of flipping are Bridges which would hurt like hell, Monty Atkinson, and Darrell Williams if Bama gives him a commitable offer.

Not so much that I'm worried about Jovon just a statement about the last few years.

I agree with you though, Bridges would be a huge loss.

I think Saban sets it up for show, to make it look like he has his pick of who he wants from us. No matter how many we beat him on, the last big one is all that is remembered. It's up to Gus to sniff them out early like Liner and the players catching Foster.

The other SEC coaches should start doing it to Saban. If he starts having multiple players flip on NSD it could hurt his recruiting and keep him from being able to have time to or space to take their recruits until it's too late.

Very few if you are talking percentages

I don't agree with this. Nearly every situation was in Bama's best interest to push commitments back to the last minute independent of what it does to AU. Look at the situations

Brent Calloway- Wasn't any show and dealt with a reflip and weird Peach named adults

Cyrus K- Wasn't like Bama wanted him choosing AU and of course they would fight for #1 OT in class

TJ Yeldon- He was an EE and they planned it right before dead period so coaches couldn't contact him. This was strategically smart to ensure he wouldn't have AU in his ear

R. Foster- Wasn't decommitted and Bama fought for him. Wasn't shady in the slightest it was known they never stopped recruiting him

Rashaan Evans- Hard to digest this one without having Evan's true feelings. On one hand, he had AU so convinced he was coming they had a signed LOI bag for him along with the rest of the class.which suggests something sinister for tricking AU. On the other hand, living in AU means if he committed to Bama any earlier he would have had all that pressure and noise in his ear. Similar to Yeldon, strategically it makes sense to limit his exposure to negativity regarding his decision.

Dee Liner- Screw this TPOS.

Bro, it is 100% done for show. I appreciate the effort, and I wish it wasn't the case. But he does this to get that headline every year, surely you have seen them? Nearly every NSD since sabear arrived in T'Town there has been an article the following Wednesday. Something along the lines of "Saban bests Tigers on NSD"? Then the writer goes on to mention all the 5* kids Bama has at the position (while AU has none), and how bad it hurts us?

Denial; it's not just a river in Egypt.

Brent Calloway, we dodged a bullet here. Glad that thug trash went to Alabama.

Cyrus Kouandjio, Greg Robinson was better. Better college player, went higher in the draft and is now making more money.

TJ Yeldon, Tre Mason and Cam Artis-Payne are both proving to be better college running backs. Plus, TJ Yeldon fumbles during every critical moment. He's a choke artist.

Reuben Foster, guy is a dumbass and I wouldn't take him over Cass McKinzy or Kris Frost. He has no control while hitting someone and always knocks himself out.

Dee Liner, he can enjoy karma. Ride that bench, Dee.
