In essence, any coaching change in the Power 5 can now be brought up in this thread as it could pertain to recruiting.

Almost 20% of our roster comes from FL. Any power 5 school coaching changes in Florida or anywhere in the South East is relevant to us. Not even an argument to make.

Simple math. 11 schools we are recruiting against for remaining targets divided by 63.5 power 5 schools = 17.3 % of power 5 schools possible staff change over could potentially have affect on AU recruiting.

Presuming that Mullen leaves for Florida, these Ms. State recruits will be low hanging fruit.

Mullen will be gone from Miss St but as things stand now I doubt it would be Florida. Foley and Mullen Loathe each other. My guess for Mullen would be Michigan with an outside chance of Miami. Mullen almost took the Canes job the last time it was open.

As for the Miss St recruits, there aint much there AU would want. The only possible targets I see are Jonathan Calvin and Fletcher Adams. Their class is nearly full and they did not give their season much of a chance to parlay it into landing big time recruits.

On a related note I wish Javon Patterson was not an EE. With Freeze and Mullen likely being the top 2 options on many jobs wish list, they are not likely to leave their schools (if they leave) til after the bowl season given how good the 2 teams are now.Patterson is likely to be enrolled before one of the coach leave if they were to leave.

Me too. He and Freeze would be my best Guess.Just bring their offensive staffs over and keep the UF defensive staff and they're set.

They need to have a waiver for players in that situation. While they sign with the school almost all go to play because the coaches there when they sign.

There is a very real possibility that Foley ends up as the new SEC Commissioner.

I could obviously be wrong but I truly believe Ole Miss is his dream job. I just don't see him leaving at this point in time.

There is no signing involved with high school EEs. Once you start class you are bound to that school. Even if a kid leaves the first week he has to sit a season maybe 2.

-Burt sounds like he's a lock to AU.
-AU believes if they were closer to home we would have Christian Kirk wrapped up already. Still a A&M, ASU, AU battle
-4star LB Adonis Thomas (former UF commit) would be very interested by an AU offer.

IMO, Mullen isn't leaving Starkville. He's established them, and the money won't be enough of a difference to get him to leave. With the secn, everybody's got money, including msu.

If Mullen wins an sec championship at state, he'll be a livin god to those people.

If it were me and I grew up a Rebs fan I'd take the Florida job in a hurry and it'd be a no brainer. Florida has much better resources, much better recruiting base, make more money, and let's me get out of the deadly SEC West while still being able to be very competitive in the playoff picture. I'd rather play 3 SEC West teams a year (including the SECCG) than 6.

AUR is rumor central. AUC and Keith specifically is much more credible, which is where 25's post came from.
