Queen's Junior highlights LINK

He throws a really good deep ball IMO FWIW.

will be interesting to see what kind of numbers JS puts up at QB this fall... if he blows it up, then by all means he deserves a shot at QB.

Not sure if it has publically but no indication the staff plans to part ways with JS at this point.

His game last year against Macheachern was about the best a HS QB can play. He put the team on his back and beat one of the better teams in GA.

Jason Smith is Nick Marshall with better accuracy. Maybe even quicker and more shifty.

That part is really tough to say. Nick completed a bit over 60% his senior HS year. Would be surprised if JS was that accurate. Also Nick has a stronger arm. Other than that they are athletically very similar.

Arm strength isn't even that close though. NM has a much stronger arm.

I would pretty much completely disagree with everything you just said.

I noticed a crystal ball to AU for Javon Patterson from bama's Bleacher Report writer. I looked and he's gotten 6 of them since 5/16, all to us. Two notable ones are JC Shurbutt and Shannon Terry.

Yeah. That'll be something interesting to watch. No word from Keith or anybody on those pics.

If Javon P is really serious about majoring in Electrical Engineering, Auburn is the EASY choice based on who his finalists are.

Pretty good looking film.

6'2*
225**

But...he does show great touch on the deep ball, and the ability to take some off, as well as fire the ball in when needed. Does seem to have a bit of a slow delivery though.

Definitely moves well for his size. He is definitely a player that could become dangerously good when he hits a good S&C program. If he is moving that well while doing the truffle shuffle, just think how well he will move when he is in shape.

* indicates skepticism
** indicates double skepticism

Yeah, really nice touch on his deep ball and the middle stuff, and nice zip when needed. And of course good wheels on the read option stuff. Me likely.

He has supposedly reshaped his body a good bit for the better since his Soph year per Keef FWIW.
