Been trying to find out myself. He had family there, and Owens is family...

I don't even know if we have offered Owens or if he is on our board. We will likely have a few big receivers looking at us if Coates and Duke have a big year and both leave.

Is Cole Minshew really high on UGA's board right now or something?

247 has him at Guard. I assume at 6'6 300+ he is a tackle prospect for most teams?

I mean that is pretty damn big for OG

Owens is raw, what else can you call it? 6'-05" he played a huge role in Griffin winning State I have been told. Have not seen him play or on film. As a HS WR this year, it will be up to him to produce. He looks the part for sure. A good year and everyone will offer.

FSU and Us at Guard. UGA at Tackle. Same with Carr although the GA guys say different.

Rivals.com

Two Auburn assistant coaches visited the nation's top JUCO defensive end, Marquavius Lewis, on Saturday. What was Lewis' reaction and where does his recruitment stand? Read more inside.

Lewis RS his 2012 season and played in 2013 so after the 2014 season, he will have 2 years to play 2

From Rivals version of the story

- Ellis Johnson and Garner visited

- From Hutchinson CC, where Kenny Flowers, Devonte Danzey and Ben Bradley attended

- Maintains relationship with Bradley and Bradley is recruiting him/encouraging him to visit

- Auburn was first offer. DOesn't seem huge deal but he acknowledges it

-Talks to Garner and EJ often and Gus here and there

-Big pitch is how Garner puts out NFL players.

-He recognizes how big an impact Dee Ford had and watched Auburn last year

-Decision is likely going to be during his upcoming season. Unlikely to be before that

Gracias.

Anyone heard anything else on Golston? That would be a tremendous pick-up.

I don't really see Him being an elite OT. Thought he was overrated in the recruiting process. I think Braden Smith and Shon Coleman will hold it down until an OT from 2015 is ready

He is sitting out this year. Coleman has two good years and he will be gone. You have LT and RT? Coleman and Smith are going to cover both for the next 4 seasons?

@JHokanson: Told that former #Auburn/#UF RB Mike Blakely, transferred to Hutchinson CC last fall, didn’t return to practice this spring. Geez.

what a waste... those two backs from florida from the 2011 class that we went hard after both turned into busts (for different reasons)... dee hart and blakely.

from a recruiting perspective, mason was really an afterthought... just shows what a crap shoot recruiting can be.

Blakely just threw away talent. I was told that in practice he was just an absolutely dominant runner. Everyone said be hands down had the most talent :smh:

Also shows the importance of picking the right school for you. Even the casual fan knew Dee Hart would never see the field at Bama.
