Not a big fan of his, would be much happier with Roberts and Evans.

Man what's not to like SDH is every bit as impressive as R. Foster was coming out of high school IMO. I actually believe SDH is more athletic and has a better frame for weight.

Talked to some bama friends and they are ready to let both go. Obviously they feel Roberts has turned his back to them and they have a few guys higher on their board than SDH.

Yeah, after having Jake Holland, I don't see how anyone could ever not want SDH too.

Jake played a good game against UGA. He has three games left in an Auburn uniform. The players give their all for they love. Jake has always done that and I am happy he is in an Auburn uniform.

I wouldn't call it good. I would call it not bad. I mean he completely whiffed on their white boy RB and if I remember right made a couple other mistakes. But even though he's not the best LB, I still don't like some of the slight boos you hear when they announce his name as a starter. You can talk shite all you want about him but don't boo him right before he goes out on the field to play his heart out for our team.

Rant over.

Ok?? I'd rather have an SEC caliber LB that gives their all. Jake is not that. But thanks for your touching opinion.

ETA: And he still had several missed tackles against UGA. That is not a good game IMO. Effort =/= talent. I am glad he loves AU and has tried his best, but it isn't good enough. Sorry to be so blunt.

True but it is obvious there is no one better to bench him. That isn't his fault and he is performing to his ability, which is why I am done bashing the kid. I am over it and just hoping for the best each game. He doesn't deserve to be trashed at games.

apparently it's better than whatever else we have so there is no need to continue to wear the guy out for busting his A$$ every week. I just don't get it

I didn't bash him. My post he responded to had everything to do with the fact we are stuck with Holland, thus should be vying for all the LB help we can get, lest we end up in the same position.

Again, in the post of mine that was originally responded to, I was not bashing Holland, I was bashing depth, which is requiring AU to play Holland, thus SDH should be a want for every AU fan.

He certainly busts it every week.

Jake's just leveling the playing field by tackling people from a seated position. Boss on, Jake.

Can we take the daily Jake banter out of the recruiting thread? #precciateit

I'm sure the staff would take Hamilton, but we're gonna be pretty deep at LB if we take 4(including Evans) this class.

Depth for next year if we end up with Williams, Davis, Evans and Hamilton. You're looking at 13 guys for 3 spots.

ILB - Frost RJr, Toney RFr, Williams Fr, Hamilton Fr
OLB - McKinzey Jr, Swain Jr, Mitchell RSoph, Flowers Jr, Davis Fr
Star - Therezie Sr, Garrett RJr, Alexander RFr, Evans Fr

I personally think Davis would end up at Star and Evans at OLB.
