E, unless you look like Brittany Spears, please never use that phrase again. When you get married you'll understand! K, thanks.

What recruits are out there still deciding that we are in the running for and who's the big competition for them?

We are settled at quarterback.

I assume we are done at running back with Pettway and Thomas.

Truit is going beast mode in high school right now and Williams is a top notch big receiver. Are we still looking for another receiver or two and who are they?

Tight end seems to be a position of need after losing Parks and losing Prosch this year too. We have two committed in Mitchell and Laye. Would we take one more?

Offensive line isn't a big need but I assume we would take Casher back if he wants back in to go along with Dampeer. Is a third in play?

DLine is the interesting position. We need to get Shaw as a high school tackle, is there another HS tackle out there? Thorton seems closer to being ready while Kennion seems like a year or two project to get ready, are we looking for another end with Daniel moving to tackle?

Williams and Davis at linebacker still leaves us short on linebackers but only fielding two at a time doesn't make us need a ton. Take another?

Secondary worries me, we lose several seniors in the secondary and only have Moncrief and Ruffin committed right now.

sorry if all this is covered somewhere, I have been in and out of town so I haven't kept up with the thread as well as normal. Who do we have left on our board that is a take and where do they fit?

We are.

I believe Myron Burton who's already committed is projected at WR. Not sure though.

Pretty sure we're happy with those two.

It's looking good right now on Casher coming back. Jordan Sims is another possibility but I don't think he is a take right now.

DT wise there is Shaw and Frazier but I don't think we get either. I don't think DT is as important as DE right now.

DE the main target is Andrew Williams. Backup plan for him is the Cincinnati commit that is teammates with Kennion. Can't remember his name.

Roberts is looking like a likely flip right now but I'm also worried about this position. I can't think of any safties we're going after right now. Evans is projected at Star now I think so we might be able to move Mackenro over.

The list of targets I have are (tell me if some are out of date):

POS-NAME-CRYSTAL BALL-TAKE?

Star R. Evans 71% AU YES
WR T. Rudolph. UF/FSU Yes
DT E. Shaw. OM/UGA. Yes
DE A. Williams. 71% AU. Yes
C J. Casher 72% AU. Yes
G J. Sims. 75% AU. Maybe
S. C. Hampton. 100% BAMA. YES. COMMITTED TO OM
CB S. Roberts. 91% BAMA. YES. COMMITTED TO BAMA
DE D. Sawyer. 86% SCAR. No.
JUCO T J. Prestwood. 100% FSU Yes. Think he's a AU lean
DT A. Williams. 100% FSU. No.
DE S. Williams. N/A. No. Committed to CIN

We are keeping our options open with Darrion Hutcherson as well as potentially bringing Ricky Parks back. Staff likes Parks but need to be convinced he worked out his issues that got him booted

We are okay with Davis and Williams but will take guys like Raekwon McMillon and Rashaan Evans if they were willing to commit

Casher and Prestwood the JUCO TE both should have commitable offers. Ole Miss and Auburn should split Jordan Sims and Josh Casher from what it looks like as OM only has room for one and both seem to lean OM

We don't lose nearly as much as you would think considering the early playing time most DBs are getting and most DBs will come back from injury.

DT is significantly more important this class than DE as DT typically needs at least a year if not two to develop (even Monty is has deficiencies being a FR)

DE is also crucial but Thornton and Kennion should be signifcant contributions and we are adding another

Very well done Weagle! The only thing I would add is 3* juco DT Dalvon Stuckey, committed to Miami. He is a take. Coach Garner is all over him and loves him as a pass rusher.

My best understanding of the staff's haves/wants

-QB 1/1 or 2 only if 2 is Watson or Grier
-RB 2/2 Done
-TE/HB 2/2 or 3 only if 3 is an elite guy like Jacory Washington
-OL 1/2 or 3
-DT 1/2 or 3 depends on how the staff feels about ED moving to DT
-DE 2/3
-LB 2/2 or 3 if 3 is elite
-CB 1/2
-Safety including Star 1/3

The only way the staff will even consider Hutch is if he is an EE. That does not mean we will auto take him if he is an EE. It just means he has to be an EE to have a shot.

Respectfully disagree. It's looking more like Casher is leaning to Auburn.

Me too, it's happened to often lately. I'll be weary of him until I see him enrolled at AU.

If he were committed to us, I would be worried about getting trolled. That seems to be the way it works lately.

I don't think so. FWIW, if we finish well, even lose to bammer but win the rest we could see a class beyond our dreams as this season began. Garner & Craig about to DO WORK! We need a few extra bags though on the ready.

So that would only be 21 in this class. Is that what our #'s are looking like this year? I know we don't have many graduating.
