Auburn is #1 for Jordan Sims.

Auburn is #1 for Jordan Sims.
quote:Also Sims plans to OV for the Iron Bowl and maybe visit for the UGA game also.
They helped themselves a lot," Sims told AuburnSports.com. "They're at the top. Not necessarily my number one, because I don't have a leader, but Auburn's at the top. I'd say Auburn, Alabama and Ole Miss, those three schools.
The main goal was to continue to build relationships with Coach (Gus) Malzahn, Coach (J.B.) Grimes, Coach (Rodney) Garner and Coach (Rhett) Lashlee. My dad enjoyed the visit as much as I did,
I met with Coach Malzahn and he was just excited that I came back to visit, all the coaches were. He told me it was a big game and that the fans were going to put on a good show. They did.
It was electric, I had a wonderful time," he said. "Having that kind of intensity within the fans, that's something that can make an impact on the game and it did against Ole Miss.

Article on AUC about Dante Sawyer sounds like we'd be the frontrunner if we ramp up our recruitment. He said that depending on our level of interest, which he's going to talk to Harbison about this week, will really shape his recruitment.

Can someone tell me what the deal with not offering Dante Booker is?

Apparently Andrew is higher on the list per KN.

We haven't had good luck with Homewood kids. Hopefully this one makes it.

Also per AUC Dante may have grade issues. He is taking the ACT in November and how he does on that may shape where he lands.

If you're talking about Sawyer, you're spot on.
This is why Williams is at the top of our board. We'd be hesitant to take Sawyer right now and risk not getting Andrew. Sawyer's qualifying honestly just gives us a legit reason to hold off and the ability to jump back on him, if necessary, later in his recruitment.

quote:My bad on the earlier reply. I read Dante and assumed Sawyer. Not sure why we did not offer Booker but it did not matter even if we did. Even though his dad or someone in his fam went to Auburn years ago they all live near Columbus now and bleed scarlet. Booker was going to tOSU no matter who else offered.

Appears we are still in it For Arden Key per AUC. This kid is 6'-05" & 200+lbs of lightning! If we miss on Evans this year we can make up for it with Key IMO in 2015. Quickest kid his size out there IMO.

Is there any hope of pulling Taj Griffin for '15? Talk about a guy that will do well in the HUNH/spread. He's like McCalebb with lateral quickness.

Too early to know but IMO Eric Swinney is a more realistic get.

I wish seen him play a couple of times this year, plays like 15 min from me. I'm gonna go watch him vs. Queen in a couple of weeks.
What about Terry Godwin? Do we have any shot at him?

A good shot? Who else are the main competitors? UGA and bama?
Posted on 10/10/13 at 7:27 am to RandySavage
Too early to tell as with most 2015 recruits but he's been here a few times. Based on his 247 profile UGA is the main competitor.
