I thought Laye was supposed to be well thought of?

He has been recruited because of his blocking capabilities. I've yet to see anyone state that he was "well thought of"...

Also have Jakell Mitchell committed too and he has a nice offer list. Laye's offer list is pretty crappy but he has a pretty long frame and some blocking ability. He will probably be a bit of a project.

I've heard Parks, Pat Miller, and Fulse had to go to rehab. Miller and Fulse completed it, Ricky didn't. TIFWIW
FWIW I don't know specifics but was told he allegedly did something that was a major team violation. He is still saying he did not break said rule, whatever it was. It's a very strange situation.

I just hope he sticks until NSD. RT is the main player I am hoping for. SW needs to get on the secondary players.

If Roc does in fact end up at Auburn next year, how much playing time do yall think he gets with us having Mason, CAP, and Grant?

He has more raw talent than all 3 so he could get some PT if fumblitis becomes a problem.

Per AUC LINK

-CDC told Myron Burton an Auburn offer should come next week. Just have to wait for Gus to sign off on it.
-Roc is now helping Auburn recruit prospects. (Was also in the War Room yesterday so it makes me feel better about that intel since it's from both sites.)
-Andrew Williams is the top overall DL on Auburn's board.
-Auburn is 3rd behind Ole Miss and Bama for CJ Hampton but will get an OV.

Regarding our defensive recruiting, it would have been nice to get one of Rueben foster, macKensie Alexander, or Tray Matthews, although Daniels was a nice surprise. I would say two more corners and a true safety would be great for this class. Think we will have to steal a defensive tackle from someone in this class or take some diamonds in the rough, which is okay since most freshmen our projects anyways.

with our offense I think it's easy to get those small wes welker type receivers to commit, but getting another surehanded receiver like d williams would be great. dAmnit Jaquay.

Edit: watching the Georgia defense against LSU's running game, I'm realizing our defensive tackles are more to blame than Holland for the gut runs. We need to recruit three or four defensive tackles.

The plan right now is 1 more corner and 2 more safeties in this class.
