Means nothing if he went given we were on the road. The telling weeks will be 6 and 9 when both teams are at home.

Won't know til recruiting services talk to recruits. Just a guess here but I think it may not have helped with Clark and Evans.

Absolutely.
If this staff keeps doing what they are doing we will have an excellent class this year. Blue chip players can see the playing time some of the freshmen are getting and we need serious help at the D-line and linebacker positions.

I don't really see how they could be real impress with the way UGA and Bama won either. If we can get some things fixed this off week and beat Ole Miss maybe things will start picking up. Especially if they can upset Bama this week.

Again JMO but I think we have to beat 1 of the big 3 left on our schedule or make them all sweat it out at the very least to make a big Impact with Evans and Clark. If we were not already virtually done with offensive skill players I think that game would have had a big impact in those areas.

FWIW, the Humpries kid at Hoover doesn't want to go to bama. He'll probably be pressured there, but he also wants to run track. Saban told him no on that. FSU is his leader.

A couple of recruiting notes.

Per BOL SDH only plans 1 more trip to Auburn, for the Iron Bowl.

Per Rusty Mansell of UGA 247, Jovon Robinson is Bama's to lose. He is a 2015 recruit that will graduate next December. JR is not worried about the RB depth at Bama. JR says he will go there and beat them all out. He is leading the juco nation in yards and is running like a man possessed. LINK

Sounds to me JR is resentful to Auburn the way things turned out.

He was very pro Bama during his recruitment till they decided he wouldn't make it in/wasn't good enough to risk it

He supposedly a freak RB when he was in summer and fall camp here at AU. Not surprised he is blowing up. Scary to think eh will be at Bama

If I remember correclty, he made it for the MSU game or at least was expected to show up. No way we get him.

I have heard that he is not as pro Bama as people would like. Just can't imagine a scenario where a Hoover kid with a big name Bama player as a dad doesn't end up in Tuscaloosa

I don't see Clark coming but with Evans, I just find it hard to believe he doesn't see an opening at WLB his for the taking. Quite frankly, this is embarrassing that we are having such a hard time recruiting that last LB spot

I was just giving an update about a former player on the team...especially since there are Auburn fans hoping he comes back to Auburn.

I would be shocked if Saban would waste a scholarship on a JUCO running back when he is getting his pick of freshman backs these days.

At some point, you got to wonder why UA is taking so many RBs if they bring on Jovon.

If taking him meant keeping him out of another conference school then bet your arse they'll take him.

Saban has proven he knows the numbers game and he can find a way to fit Jovon into a recruiting class especially if he is as good as everyone is making him to be.

Jovon would have been nice to have, but I already have moved on from him. Let him go to Bama, and let's see if he can break into the line up. They already have very good backs for us to go up against. Wouldn't be a big deal imo.
