Who is Trent Thompson? All Im getting is a white QB that signed with Georgia Southern.

Also Kwon who?

I do not follow recruiting much anymore. Hard to fill in the gaps without names?

Yeah, I don't see him being able to do this either...at least not right now. Maybe in a couple years.

thompson will be the highest rated DT going into the 2015 recruiting cycle.

I assume Kwon is Raekwon McMillan

SDH...is supposedly trying to stay on some guys about going to bammer. Personally, I'd tell him to kick rocks.
FWIW. Neibuhr is saying SDH is not doing that and that Auburn would put the breaks on him if he was.

why is Casher a take for FSU now? Did something happen with their center that is committed?
Nothing to do with the C they have committed. He is a take now because they are not happy with their OL play and plan to take 6 or 7 OLs.

He was there. He was in the 247 free visitor gallery for the game.

No. We are pushing Star on Evans.

That makes sense because I know that he was not where the committed players + unofficial visitors were

I remember him being quoted as being recruited for Star and Will linebacker.

Regardless SDH should be playing Mike correct? If so, no the same case

Apparently the staff now considers him a take regardless of numbers and class position depth.

After seeing Jake Holland play, I'm not surprised the staff wants to pick up some more MLB. Can't gamble with only one

Per AUR Thornton will take all 5 OVs after the season to Auburn, UGA, LSU, TAMU, and USC. He says he is not waivering. He just wants to enjoy the free trips. LINK

Casher: FSU defintely needs some interior guards and that's why I think they're looking to take him. He would probably be hesitant to commit back to AU but with this group of commits I don't think it would be a problem if his family were supportive. He needs to see that Dismukes is gone soon and after a RS year he'll be starting as a C.

Thompson: is a beast and hopefully with Garner and the improvements we're going to see this season he has us in his top 3 going into 2014.

Evans: I see him going to UGA right now just based on reading various quotes. I think if we show out as the season progresses he'll have a bigger decision to make. Looking at his frame, he looks like he'd outgrow the Star after getting here and would be a great, great Will backer. Lateral quickness and nose for the ball are blue-chip.

Kwon: I don't see us getting in his top group but the more he visits the more he can talk with the other recruits like Ruffin. Closer to home and frequent visit opportunity is one advantage we have over OSU. Think we need to beat some of the bigger programs and get in the spotlight to be considered though. He would be an animal Mike backer and could even slide Williams to Will for a deadly tandem.

Clark: looks like a Bama lean but he will fit the Star after S&C better than anyone. @ Bama he will sit for two years with the Safeties they have on roster and are taking now. This kid is the top want for me.

SDH: Some 5'11/6'0 MLBs have done pretty well for big programs. London Fletcher isn't 6'0 and is widely considered a great MLB in the NFL. Big question like ellitor said is the effect on his agility/quickness as he gets heavier. Idk anything about his football smarts but right now with Williams committed I don't care if we get him. Would much rather take Evans @ Will if we could turn him.

WR: Williams will be an absolute animal, better than C-Patterson one-year wonder. Besides our smaller slot-guys committed, why are we having trouble getting a good-route, big-frame WR to commit? It's clear we want to get them the ball and we want to go deep. I understood the hesitancy with recent year QB play but not now.

I'd like to see some safety, WR, DT interest (esp with a lot of DTs committed elsewhere). How do we fill the rest of this class with only 14 committed? Tubs diamonds in the rough style?

Lots of good stuff there. The lack of DT's in this class is concerning.

if we keep getting TFLs like we've done the first two weeks, DL recruits will start to take notice.

The staff has not decide yet that it will even take another WR in this class. If they do it will be a physical slot WR. Travis Rudolph is the only WR with an offer that we are heavily pursuing and he does not plan to commit til January. Myron Burton is an Auburn legacy. He does not have an offer yet but could get one with a big senior year.

probably a combo of 4* guys with 3* diamonds.

FWIW a former teammate of Casher at St. Paul's who posts on AUF says he confirms Josh will visit for the Miss St game.

I am fine with this if those guys will be around as role players in 3 years instead of classes being 60% gone after two years like the past few classes.

DT is a position that is incredibly difficult to scout and there are a lot of guys out there that need the strength and conditioning of a major program to be a monster.
