Dante Sawyer is announcing soon. We'd have to be stupid not to accept it right now if he wanted to come here, right? Haven't heard anything about him in a long time.

Seems Andrew Williams and Spencer Williams (Kennion's teammate) are higher on the board for the coaches.

Former Texas WR Cayleb Jones is transferring to Arizona. We were in the conversation of where he might transfer to.

Transferring to a run first spread? That is a bunch of stupid.

I wish we could have gotten him . He has some serious talent

He's friends with Connor Brewer, former UT QB also transferring to AZ. So that's why he chose there.

The offense under Gus is run balanced. The offense under RichRod is run heavy. Huge difference.

I would define us as a run first offense.

Last year Arkansas State (with a relatively slow-footed QB) ran 57% of the time. In 2010 (with, obviously Cam) Auburn ran 69% of the time. Last year, with Matt Scott Arizona ran 50% of the time. In 2010, RichRod's last year with Denard Robinson, Michigan ran 59% of the time.

So make of that what you will, but I'd say Gus runs somewhat more than RichRod but not necessarily that much so.

He is behind Andrew and Spencer Williams as already said. Also remember KK said he was a little sawed off in the arms.

Christian Westerman fit that bill and we all know how that worked out

Look at his West Virginia numbers as that was the last time he ran his true offense

2006- 71% run plays

2007- 70% run plays

So his Pat white days are similar to Malzahn's Newton days. I think the QB is a heavy factor into what type of offense it is for both guys.

His last year at WVU comes out to 70% run. But, he had Pat White there, and I'm not sure that 70% is any more representative than Gus' numbers with Cam.

Actually he adjust to his QB strengths a lot like Gus. Shaun King had an excellent college career as a passing DT QB under RR as OC at Tulane in 1998 LINK

Tre on Casher
quote:

(He)does not know where he wants to go....All I have to say is, I don't want Auburn to give up...I'm one of his closest friends, but I don't want to stand in the way of his life and his decision...I've stepped back and let him and his family deal with that. But at the same time, I'm here if he wants to talk. It would be great if he goes back to Auburn, but I want what's best for him.
Casher likes Auburn, Bama, and FSU but Bama and FSU have centers committed. He asked Tre about fan day and Roc's commit when Tre got home this weekend. Casher wants to go to multiple Auburn games including the Iron Bowl but is leary of looks he would get from Auburn fans. Tre told him not to worry about it because people understand those decisions are tough. All per AUC.

Sounds like he wants to go anywhere but Auburn, but there's no room......

I'd imagine there was a lot of backlash about him decommitting and it probably makes him uncomfortable. He doesn't know how he will be received if he comes back

If your best friend's girlfriend broke up with him and started flirting with the guy he hated then tried to come back when that didn't work out, would you not be pissed at her? Even if your friend took her back? Girlfriend has to know you are pissed too
