So is Carr an Auburn fan or Bama fan?... Seem to be conflicting info

Huge Auburn fan. I've read (not sure how legit) that his dad is a season-ticket holder. Here are some quotes from when he received his offer
quote:
When Southside (Ala.) offensive lineman Tyler Carr was a youngster, he grew up rooting for Auburn and credited the Tigers as one of his inspirations for playing football. On Sunday, the 6-foot-6, 306-pound Carr received an offer from his childhood favorite.
"Auburn is going to probably stay in my top 5 regardless," Carr said. "I've always been around Auburn, always have loved Auburn and I've been here through the good and the bad. I've seen it all. I have seen how the fans have stand behind them even through the tough years, too."

Carr also won a couple Rivals Underclassmen awards
quote:
Physical prowess
Tyler Carr, Southside, Ala.: This goes to the player who looks the best getting off the bus -- or in this case coming through registration -- and no one looked better on the hoof than Carr, who stands roughly 6-foot-6 and checks in at about 300 pounds with no bad weight. Carr looks like a college lineman already, and he stood out physically in a strong group of offensive linemen.
quote:
High ceiling
Tyler Carr, Southside, Ala.: This award goes to the prospect at the event who has the most potential to be a college and NFL star. You'd think Dylan Moses would be that guy with all the hype and he makes honorable mention, but he's too young to even make a proper projection on a position. Carr hasn't played much along the offensive line, but based on what I saw Sunday, and with his size, frame and power, he has the look of someone we could be watching in the NFL down the line.

Per Rivals it looks like Josh Frazier's dad wants him to get out of his comfort zone away from family. If that is a real factor for Frazier that puts Arky and TAMU behind the eight ball. Frazier plans to take visits for Big games for all 6 of his finalists including the Iron Bowl.

Why not transition D-Hutch back to TE/H-Back? Who else will we have a couple years from now besides Jakell Mitchell and Fulse(not sure what year he's in)?

We certainly will need help at DT going forward.

The HBack is a key position in this offense. Having a quality blocker makes the run game go as it is a bastardization of the wing T

Exactly. Having a quality blocker is important, not a big weapon at TE. Any walk on can be a good blocker. Our best blocker didn't have any SEC offers out of HS (Prosch). I'm saying no reason to stress out about our TE/HBack situation. A good, hard working blocker isn't that hard to find

1- Being a threat out of the backfield keeps LBs honest
2- Just because someone fits the mold of your argument does not indicate that they are the rule and not the exception. Considering that there are not a significant number of teams who utilize an every down FB, it is no surprise that Prosch, who is only 6' tall didn't get an offer.

Well you can compensate by being the best blocking full back in the country

Evans will not be an EE. Decided to enjoy his senior year.

Considering how our LBs are playing out, I don't see that as too much of a downside except of him missing those practices. I don't see him competing for playing time FR year considering everyone in his position will return
