Well, we're up to 14th on 247's Team Composite Rankings

...unfortunately that's only 8th in the SEC
If you go by average player grade...

We move up to 9th overall and 6th in the SEC (UF jumps us by 0.02 pts).

From Hoke:
quote:

Who's next to commit?

I'll say this: A certain Auburn commitment told me one week ago that three players were close. One of those was 'Roc' Thomas. That same commit is currently on the phone with another one of those three and said, "he's talking good."

Auburn as a chance to enter the season with some nice recruiting momentum.

Oh yeah, I'm not worried. I know we'll jump teams ahead of us, and some teams will jump us. I just thought it was crazy how SEC loaded the rankings were. As long as we get recruits our coaches can work with, I don't care that much where we end up in the rankings.

Roc is a Composite 5* though

Im going Davis. That guy is always tweeting bout AU and talking to other recruits. I do think tho White might have been the final piece in getting Roc to commit to AU. He and Davis are both doing work on the recruiting trail along with Ruffin

My wife's boss (and good friend), is very good friends with Chris. Her son plays football with him. She told me Chris was a outstanding kid. Works hard and stays out of trouble. His grandfather owns a Ford dealership in Cumming. It's always great to hear good things about recruits.

I've heard from people that he was the most pleasant recruit to be around on trips and is just a great kid. The grandparents are awesome too from what I heard. Most adorable people ever

I haven't heard anything about Chris Laye is why I jokinly mentioned him but I am glad I did always good to hear positive things especially after ricky parks gone and fricked up

I think Clark is a given. The other is either Evans or Andrew Williams IMO

As much as I'd like to have Evans, I really really want Clark.

Given two of those three, I'll take Clark and Williams, thank you very much.

Good, that means I don't have to drop any bags off to anyone.

That dealership outfits a lot of the police departments around town.
