I wasn't blown away by his interview either. Early yesterday I was pumped about Clark especially reading that KK felt good as well. After Keiths two pieces last night I was less than pumped.

from what the mods on 247 have written and what little i've heard after his visit, it just seems that we're in the drivers seat. He's a low-key kid and does want to have his moment and have it as a surprise, so you shouldn't expect a public proclamation of who he's leaning towards. He could certainly choose bammer, but I still think he's going AU.

our chances of getting a commit from Clark are below 50%, IMO... assuming he does take that visit to tuscaloosa with his family. depth chart could be an issue for them, but they seem to manage to get around it nearly every time (especially with the in-state kids).

Well my optimism was just flushed right down the toilet.

I mean we have a chance... we've got more opportunity for early PT, and his size/skills fit our defense better... i'm sure these two points have been made more than clear to RC and his family.

with that said, if there's an in-state prospect they really want, then it's hard to bet against them... especially when everyone has been saying for a while that he's a bama lean.

Agree, Tre Williams is one of our rare wins (for now). Most instate kids we're getting, Bama isn't after them. Just facts.

People love to feel bad. But anyways, it's not like the dude told me himself he's committing to Alabama. I just think it's really, really likely that he does.

Even without insider knowledge on this your posts are highly thought of. When you use a very strong phrase like "hate our chances" it speaks volumes because we all know there is a very logical reason for that to be your opinion.

Bad feeling is one thing. He used hate which is in a completely different ball park.

I've been criticized for this on here before, but I won't be comfortable until Tre's LOI shows up on the fax machine simply because he's a top instate linebacker.
