All these guys, Hoke and all of them, Rivals, AUC, they're all stingy with this information. I mean, the recruits are coming in tomorrow. Give us a freaking list already. Geez.
Likely only the OVs come in tomorrow. AUC will have a list in the morning. Not sure when tomorrow Hoke will post his.

Don't post in the bunker. Some loons in there. Got conned into a subscription -- I'm trying to make the most of it -- so I don't mingle.

Hoke or JGT, one or the other said the same, they'd have info up in the a.m. But still, it's a camp. It's not like it's State's Secrets. Then again, where's their need to be first? All sorts of new media wrong here.

Yeah I borrow an account with the stip that I don't post so I don't. I only read Hoke, JGT. and Allie D's posts.

I'm just hoping it gets better during the season. I like these guys' work, and I'm hoping there will be fresher content once the season or camp -- yeah, camp! bring it on! -- gets in gear.

Miller should be a Guard before Young. Young is WAY too athletic to be wasted on the interior line.

Miller has a prototypical tackle body. He is way to tall and lanky tob play interior line

Justin Hoke has an account on TigerVent and he never let's any info escape it. For those that don't know, it's a place for old players, former coaches, and has all of the best insiders high up in the football program. You cannot register, so don't even try. I almost had access around a year ago, but it slipped right through my hands. I bet there is some interesting stuff on there.

If they're asked to not put out a list until a certain time by the AU media relations folks or coaching staff, then they won't put out the list until that time or they risk losing their info flow.

We're not talking strategies to be deployed vs. Washington State opening weekend and for the season. We're talking a camp. A camp. Hopefully we're moving beyond the paranoid mindset of the Chizik era. I

there's a difference, IMO. I have no problem keep potential visitors/camp participants under wraps. Other staffs can and will take advantage of that information.

Just have a little patience... we'll know who's here soon enough. Whether you find out now, later today, or tomorrow isn't a big deal.

From B. Mathews interview with Rhett Lashlee

"No cut off time to name a qb but we want to do it as quick as possible. I think a couple weeks is reasonable."

"Nick Marshall and Jeremy Johnson have been getting good exposure to our offense this summer"

"Really proud of Reece Dismukes, he's a leader on the field"

"Jay Prosch can make plays in the passing game this fall"

"All 4 qb's have a legit shot at winning the starting job"

That board is overrated. Most of them talk about real life (kids, vacations, work, etc.)

Typically with visits, if there is a commit on the list or a guy with a lot of in-state or regional pressure to attend a different school they'll help out by keeping the visit hush for as long as possible. That's not something only Auburn does. Every school does this.

You're confusing talking about it with impatience.

From BM earlier, good stuff:
quote:

Garrett said the Star position players are working with the safeties. He said Mackenro Alexander is working at Star and he's been real impressed. Thinks Alexander can help them this fall. He's said Captain's practices are much more serious and more intense this summer. They are going three days a week. He said Nick Marshall, "has a big arm." Garrett said he's up to 221 pounds.

Nosa said he's been real impressed with Carl Lawson (his get-off) and Elijah Daniel (get-off and works hard) at defensive end. He said he's really working on his craft of being a DE this summer and the Chuck Smith DL camp they attended was very helpful. Nosa said Keymiya Harrell is working hard in his rehab from knee injury. Said he's running but is not sure when he'll be back fully ready to go.

Raekwon is coming. Kevin Mouhon and EJ Moss. Kerryon, Trenton Thompson, Chuma. All among the 500-600 expected. More geared toward '15 class is what Hoke is saying.

Missing from list: Andrew Williams and Dante Sawyer.

I'm really starting to like Garrett. He seems like he's developed that killer attitude and is trying to rub off on the other players. That's something we've needed since Tuberville left.

Shocker: Casher will not be there. But his brother Darius Whitfield ('16), who Casher went to the recent bama camp to support, will be.
