Well, that doesn't mean much to me. I remember Fluker got beat easily and routinely at camps before his freshman year by guys that didn't turn out great and has never been known for great footwork against the rush.
And I'm not taking anything away from Carl. I think he would and will embarrass a whole lot of olinemen who do have great footwork and pass protection abilities on the oline.

Fluker was not a first round pick on size alone. He developed into an effective tackle.

Exactly E, to act as if an incoming Freshman beating a first round draft pick is just MEH is absurd. Suh didn't like being pushed around by him either. Carl Lawson is a bad man.

effective, at BEST, against the pass.
He should be a Guard. He is not good against good pass rushers where he has to use quick feet (because he ain't got 'em). He is a mauler in the running game though.
Either way, its quite impressive for a HS Sr / Freshman to be to be consistently beating an NFL top 15 draft pick offensive lineman.
