I met Randall Cunningham at a track meet in high school in Santa Barbara, CA. He was pretty cool back then as a highly touted HS player.

Randall was the first real dual-threat QB I remember, him and Steve Young. He could throw a football 85 yrds, EASY. Dude sat out 2 yrs and came back and won MVP in '98 with the Vikings. That team went 15-1....lost to Atlanta by fluke in the NFC Champ game. But still, Cunningham, Carter, and Moss...

Brings back memories of NFL Blitz on SNES. I used to kick arse with the Vikings.

Someone on Twitter asked Tre Williams what other schools he plans on visiting and he replied "Alabama State"

Looks like things are picking up fast in the QB race. Per AUC, White plans to visit The Plains between the 10th-12th, as most of you know Brandon Harris is tentatively scheduled to visit Auburn the 10th.

More on White from AUC. Lashlee reached out to him via email right after White was announced as an Elite 11 finalist a couple weeks ago. They have communicated on nearly a daily basis since that first email. Their relationship has developed very quickly. White even went so far as to say, "I love him."...White will throw for our staff when he is here.

Thoughts from Super Bowl QB and Elite 11 Head Coach Trent Dilfer, "His accuracy is not just accurate, it's exact...It's an NFL type of ball that he throws. He throws an artistic ball. He paints a picture with his ball. He just doesn't throw a hinge. He throws the receiver open with the hinge. He doesn't just throw a skinny post, he sends a message with the skinny post. Johnny Manziel and Tajh Boyd had a 10-minute conversation about him today. It blows your mind, his passing proficiency."

JMO but sounds very Drew Brees-esque.

Love me some White. He knows how to win, extend plays and Dilfer describes his passes as "Artful and Exact". All I need to know.

Since he visits before Harris, do you think this will be a situation where if he throws well and wants to commit, they will immediately accept? Wait until Harris visits and decides? Or just accept White's commitment on the spot and shut things down with Harris altogether?

I would imagine it would be a non committable offer hinging on what B. Harris does

Depends on where Gus feels they stand with Harris and/or White performs well and both are ready to commit to each other after the visit. It's possible they may like him just as much as Harris.

White said he wants to commit before he senior season before all the spots fill up. He also said an AU offer would be huge.

It's very possible AU could close the deal or at least be the team to beat after the visit.

JMO

btw-I think Harris is headed to LSU anyway.
