Looking back, Alabama missed on a lot of recruits this year, sort of similar to Auburn back in the 2012 class.

RaShaan Evans (soon to be)
Kalvarez Bessent
Stephen Roberts
Maybe it's just more noticeable this year versus the years past, but they seemed to be missing on a lot of #1 targets. I realize you can't get them all, but I fully expected them to land some of those guys.

I'd gladly miss on #1 targets to have a top 3 class.

Having a Top class is great. But I don't care to sign the Top Ten High School players if they are at positions we look good at already. Also, give me a local kid over a similarly ranked kid from California every day of the week.
