It's OK, guys. The hex was uplifted after Gene Chizik was fired.

but don't understand how we would take him since we have Rashaan Evans profile

Can't have too many safeties in this class.

True especially since Evans is a LBer

Rashaan would play Star, hence the allusion to him being a safety target

EJ is envisioning Rashaan as a Devonte Holloman type star. Can be put in the box as well as help in coverage as an additional safety.

Supposedly Rashaan is pretty darn good in coverage

Kind of a change of pace, but which of our commits/top prospects do y'all see getting a 4*/5* bump? I know I saw one of the 24/7 guys say they think Rashaan might get the bump and it made me curious who else y'all thought might get it?

I could see 5* bump:
Roc Thomas and Tre' Williams

4* bump:
Stanton Truitt

He is the one that I like the most on offense. The dude could be a baller for us out of the slot, just get him the ball and let him run around making people look like assholes.

According to just 247's rankings? (not composite)

Roc Thomas will be moved to 5* and top 4* worst case.

Tre Williams I see moving up but to be a 5* he needs solid All Star game performances. His stats from the season weren't jaw dropping while he was great. Just has to prove himself in both MS-AL classic (heard he is doing well) and UA Game

Truitt is already a 4* on 247 but should get that bump on the composite as well

Hard to project movement without hearing back from the AL-MS game since so many of our guys are playing in that

Rashaan almost assuredly will get a bump though

I was looking at composite and just 24/7. Composite is more important for team rankings, so I guess that's what I mean.

I'm not saying all I'm interested in is star gazing. I think all of our commits are great and they fill positions of need. I just want them to get the recognition they deserve.

I said Tre' because there's only one 5* ILB, and he's the next highest rated guy (on 24/7 that is). Here's hoping he shows out so he gets the rating he deserves

Before all star games it is going to be hard to tell. For the composite, With Roc's season he is almost set in stone bump. I could see Truitt and Sean White getting a bump with their seasons

Only person other than those that really stand out as being underrated is Jakell Mitchell but that is a result of being out for the season and not going to a ton of camps

ETA: Raashad Kennion could get a minor bump from extremely low 3* to higher 3*
