Carlos Rogers is 6'. Did Ruffin get an official height at the Army AA game? Listed heights on recruiting services are rarely accurate.

We should have another 20 or so prospects to go before we officially find the heights of each one

With all due respect this is incorrect.

Knew a couple guys from my area that OV'd to places like PSU/tOSU/Mich etc and the more higher-pf recruits that were there the more fun they had. Know nothing at AU so i'll take your word for it.

Personally don't care if you said Evans is still green-light per TTsTowel and your source after every Evans development. I enjoy info from people with ppl close to coaches / on team / in AD. It's why I liked TheJones on AE and liked talking with people on the team when I lived @ the Garden District. You've already said this specific source is limited to 'x' players and has been spot on. It's nice to read things that contradict the riled up Bama fans that feel entitled to any recruit they ignore all year and only turn the heat up on in Jan, esp after the last couple years. Idk, JMO, burn me at the stake if you wish.

We don't need any more receivers.

I disagree. I am a fan of M. Burton and Truitt will be an animal with the right play-calls but DW - 1 year, Denson (mainly a blocking threat) / Louis (hands) / Bray (not an every down WR) are getting up there, Davis is great and Walker/Stevens have potential. Don't forget we ran 3 and 4 receiver sets under Gus in the past. If you've seen Lane's film, you'd take him. He's an every-down WR who's best traits are his catching ability and being able to get something out of nothing. He would be an animal in Gus' passing system. I'm not an expert but JMO.

Mine as well.

They're shitty everywhere until the NFL Combine. Chris Davis measured in at 5'9 at the Senior Bowl. Only way to really gauge it is once they get on the field relative to everyone else. And i've never been a fan of Farell, just comes off with a lot of bullshite to me.

We just need a picture of him sort of leaning over next to someone else that's sort of leaning over, who we don't really have an accurate height for.

@AUBlog: His father, Trooper Taylor, is new CB coach there. RT @AStateNation: Blaise Taylor of Auburn, Ala., is Arkansas State's latest commitment.

I don't see how heights are so hard to frick up. Either everyone is blatantly lying or your trainers don't understand the concept. Your height will be exposed down the line anyways

More on Blaise from Al.com

He also holds offers from Auburn, Tennessee, Nebraska, Memphis and Harvard. Less than two months ago, Taylor told AL.com Auburn was continuing to recruit him at slot receiver.

Taylor helped lead Auburn High School to its first state championship game in school history in 2013 and is rated as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and Rivals.

I know everyone is getting sick of the Evans shite but I'm not buying that he likes the 3-4 OLB better than the AU Star like is being reported, not at all. Starting to think Bone is the bagman . Miller and even Hand will be vying for the same position and Evans' Dad said playing early will factor into the decision. It's not like he can't play OLB in our D either, just watch the freedom Cass has in open space as the WLB.

Fine. I was just going to share information. If anyone wants to know my height and weight, just look for it on the back channels. I'm done discussing it here.

I think Jones has done a nice job explaining how I feel about those who provide info. I have said on numerous occasions I appreciate what they bring. I enjoy reading it, but I I don't need those same telling me they will take it back channel because one of us may have upset them.

We all can be asses at times and no need to act like you are being singled out, and going to take your ball home so no one can play. For the record so there are no misunderstandings. Thank you jr, TT, ellitor, genes, and anyone else who shares, but fugg off if you can't take some harassment every so often.

That last part is a joke in case you didn't know.

I don't intend anything I say to point towards me. I sam lucky that right now I know a couple people who actually know things but in a few years when I am not in Auburn and fall out of contact I will know nothing more than Rivals/247

I am not an insider and recognize that. Just hope to provide what little i hear while I can because I hope someone does that for me in a few years
