Seems like a well-spoken person.

Did you hera him say "I definitely look forward to committing to them" in reference to Alabama?

ALso I seen the video of Braden Smith benching 515 3 times. He does it relatively easily, pretty amazing

I'm just going to go ahead and say it...kid looks a bit juiced. Zero fricks given if true.

All is well on my end. Haven't heard anything new or different.

Source is 100% so far, going to trust it until there is a letdown.

I didn't see the FSS interview but it seems odd that he would come out and say he is going to commit to Bama when he is wanting to wait until NSD for his announcement. If he said what was posted, worded like that, it was something he meant to say and not a slip up. It seems he is just trying to keep people guessing.

He was asked a question and sounded confused. It was very weird to watch

Really wish Craig could get Ermon Lane to visit next weekend. Shows his only visit left is FSU 31st. We'll see if we can beat out PSU/LSU for a visit this coming weekend for Prince.

I know we're deep at OL but if I'm looking at AU and I'm a highly rated OT, I would see 1 JUCO Center commit, possibly only Smith from HS or none if we miss, and a redshirt opportunity then be in the mix to start easily. So what if we go big in 2015, by the time the redshirt is over we'll be running the ball hard like always but actually passing frequently, in the SEC, in primetime games.

I think Evans is riding the high of his Bama visit still. They filled his brain with "you'll play freshman year" (yeah ST), "Bama builds 3-4 OLB Sams for the NFL" (not quite and I think Lemonier/Ford smoke their products), "you're the key to stopping the HUNH" (Christian Miller won't take any playtime away or anything), and the infectious Foster connection + sorostitutes (3 allocated just for him I think I read from witness ).

Once he hangs with Tre/Roc again, does it big on-campus (which is why I want to see some more 2014 non-committed cruits on campus whether we have a shot or not, more = better show) and remember the moments from this year when he walks back into JH, he'll get that feeling back. JMO. Jim Mora Jr visits him tmrw I think if I read correctly.

SIAP, but apparently Troy is hiring Al Pogue (our Director of High School Relations) to be their CB Coach

You don't just look at your class. You look at the depth chart. And you see two very good Sophomores and a Junior. That equates to you not getting playing time until Junior year if you Redshirt. Not that appealing for a guy coming out of High School.

If Prince did a year of S&C, he has the frame to hold 20-25 more lbs of good weight and would be hard to keep off the field running the ball like we do as athletic as he is even with the guys we have. He could almost play guard even and would probably be better there with his feet and quickness. Also, never know when injuries will strike. I think offensively we were very fortunate in that area.

Pure depth chart look, yes I agree. For Prince, think Florida has the easy sell but have 5 OL this class (albiet lower rated), Maryland he would compete and likely start quickly, USCe is only bringing in two other OL but would have to beat out some young monsters there.

Also: I forgot Melvin Ingram came out of high school as an OLB at 6'2 225. Worked out well for him under Ellis even though he played some DL.

it sounded that way, but it didnt seem like he was cognitively saying it...he seemed to be just putting words together as he was running out of things to say. It seemed that he inferred that those were the selling points for him if he were to commit to bama.

With all due respect this is incorrect. The benefit of Evans being one of the few if not the only uncommitted guy on campus this weekend is a better show because he will virtually get all the attention and love from virtually everybody.

Assuming Evans likes attention, him being one of the few non-committed recruits would definitely be a good thing...hopefully this is the case.

Glad Braden Smith came last week
