I feel a little better after watching Tunde's highlights. He explodes of the line and looks really athletic getting up field. His competition looks garbage, but @ the 1:36 mark he looks really impressive.

I'm telling you. He runs like a FB. Dismukes better watch out... Tunde could be playing for a while.

"If" and that's a big if, they decided to keep Tunde at center, could Reese move to one of the guard spots? Then they could move Slade or Sullen over to RT?

I just think it's a big if, it seems like Reese has more physical tools than Tunde. Plus his ceiling is probably higher.

Unknown. But he's got deadly combo of smarts/athleticism, and I'm hoping he puts the two together. But, I am a homer, so...

WHenever Prosch blows someone up on a block, they should run a juggernaut graphic on the jumbotron

If Tunde was better then dismukes at Center he would have been named the starting center before now. Dismukes will not lose his starting position. He is more physical and although not Tunde intelligent he still has the smarts to play center. However, it may be a nice reminder to Dismukes when it's time to lead and focus do so. He had all summer to screw off. Well at least when Yox wasn't working him.

While I do not think Tunde is better than Dismukes, there are so many reasons why this could be false.

1- Reese, as returning frosh AA, was entrenched already and no real competition for job

2- It is now Tunde's Junior year which means Yox's S&C program is in full swing for him and he is physically mature enough

3-Some people are gametime players not practice players

4-What he potentially brings to the game is not measured properly in practice

Think of all the superstars out there that break out because the guy in front of them gets injured/suspended or so on. I mean Tom Brady came on when Drew Blodsoe got injured. Terrell Davis was a backup running back in Denver and so on

Not sure if this has been mentioned, but apparently this wasn't Dismukes' first PI arrest.

I've heard that too. My last semester in college, when he had literally just been recruited or was still being recruited, I saw him at sky bar all the time. Huge fricking guy, but still had that "baby-face" look to him

I was like, "has this dude even gotten on campus yet and he's already getting wild?"

Can't say I was too surprised when I heard.. Just sucks

So Tunde has had an extra year and still couldn't win starting position. There was a reason Dismukes was ranked #1 center coming into college and TF was a last minute signing. Not saying a player cannot blossom into a better player, but all signs thus far confirm the difference in their abilities.

Also, I find it interesting the sudden love for Tunde now that he is replacing Dismukes. Never saw one comment on this guy other then the occasional "How's that Tunde guy doing?".

I'm guessing fans are trying to make themselves feel better over the loss of RD?

I hope Tunde plays well on Saturday...but I expect and pray for a quick retrun from our AA center.

I don't think anyone is questioning that RD isn't better than Tunde.

There are reasonable explanations to have confidence in Fariyike though. He's clearly a very intelligent young guy with a pretty big frame for a C at 6'2'' 301 lb (bigger than RD). Is he going to be perfect? Of course not and he won't be an AA center either. But can he get the job done without our offense missing much? I definitely think he's capable.

I do not think Tunde will outplay Reese but I do think/hope that he makes Reese work to regain his starting job. (Reese will win regardless)

He was a project player who had only been playing football for 2-3 years out of high school (in which he ran a run only offense from a four point stance) and needed serious work in the weight room. Clearly he wasn't going to be ready even by his sophomore year and Reese has been one of the more polished C prospects out of high school in awhile.

There is a reason most OLineman across the country are juniors and seniors and it is because they need that much time to catch up on advanced blocking techniques/schemes and to add muscle and drop fat while staying 305+ That shite doesn't happen in a summer like some people think unless you are on something
