It would suck to not get at least 2 of Adams, Enzie, Daniel and Bower. All 4 would be remarkable considering we changed staffs completely toward the end of the recruiting cycle.

Yes and they have a couple coming in or hoping to sign to play spur. Although I still agree we need 1 to 2 more LB's for depth.

I don't see how anyone can really feel confident about getting those guys... Daniels has been committed to Ole Miss for a while... with Adams and the Alexanders have played things extremely close to the vest during the whole process. And with all the guys mentioned above, we were sort of late on the scene, due to the coaching turnover.

I think just with the law of averages, we end up with one or two... but IMO, we'll probably be more on the outside looking in than anything.

And I don't put any stock in what goobers like JC Shurbutt say with their "projections"... those things are as worthless as Foster's tattoo.

I think it'll be more critical to hit our LB targets next year than this year. We only have two upperclassmen at LB right now. Holland (SR) and Garrett (JR). DT seems more depth concerning to me. The entire 2-deep will be SRs & JRs this year with only 2/3 younger guys on the team.

Agreed... underclassmen DTs are of greater need than LB. Unfortunately, it's Adams or nothing.

Grantham to Philly. How does this affect Adams or others?

I still don't get why any recruit is wanting to go Clemson or the ACC. It will be gone in a few years anyways. I guess they want to be able to say they are on the best team in the Sunbelt conference their senior year.

I really think Adams is either AU or Clemson.

I certainly don't expect all the top prospects we are aiming for to sign with us, but I just have this feeling tomorrow will be slightly disappointing.

Is really like Adams, bowers and the Alexander kid

Daniel is probably more a long shot than the rest and we will be lucky to sign just Adams I think

Yea, I'm not expecting Daniels.

I do think we get Adams, Alexander bro's, and keep Bowers. If that doesn't happen, I'll be a sad panda...

And Ben Bradley comes in as a JR this year.

So, right now, our depth is listed as...
2 SRs
4 JRs
1 RSO
1 RFR

We should redshirt one of the juniors. They haven't shown they deserve to play anyways.

Clemson has been on Adams as long or longer than anyone else... they run the 4-3, which he'd prefer. The only knock is the conference, but I just don't know how big a factor that will play into it.

Auburn runs a 4-3, has Garner (who he's very familiar with), and plays in the SEC... but this staff has not been on Adams as long as Dabo/Venerables have.

I am hoping that a renewed focus on working out will help our D linemen already on the roster. These guys were all pretty highly recruited, there is no way they are all busts. It seems like they were simply not strong enough to get the push they needed. Hopefully it is not too late for them to develop.

If they're game, I don't think it would be a bad idea at all to redshirt a guy like Sigler... he basically wasted a year last season and digressed as a player.

Will be interesting to see where President ends up... he could be a DT in the future.

If Bower decides he wants to jump off ship now I'm not going to be a happy camper. Being committed to a school less than 48 hours until NSD and then jumping ship on NSD and leaving that school scrambling to find a player to fill his spot is just about as bad a move as you can pull in recruiting.
