I don't mind Ellitor. He's a good guy. Sure he doesn't have any good sources, but he does do a good job of compiling a bunch of info from many sights into one place. He doesn't act snobby about his info either. He usually is the first to admit most of his stuff isn't insider info.

Well, I would assume they would hear something g either way, so just because they have t heard anything, doesn't mean bad necessarily.

Midnight tonight is the deadline. If they aren't cleared today they can't enroll, so yeah in this case no news is bad news.

Looks like Jovon is heading to prep school and plans to be back at AU in January. Good news if it all goes through.
Where did you read this? Very, very good news for Auburn and Jovon, if true.

Deadline for what? The add/drop date isn't for a week or so.

I'd like to know too. The date of no return is Sept 6, although we might suggest they wait until Jan to keep them from getting to far behind.

That could be 3 non-qualifiers? Dang that stinks.

Still way below the Tubs average.

Just means we have 3 more scholarship open in this class.

Maybe it has something to do with the last day to join the football team.

But as of today, there have only been 4 days of classes

Umm...I have no clue

Rules confuse me so I tend not to follow them :dwi:

Me too. That's why it was such a big deal about not signing risky kids under the new limits.

but we were not going to sign 25 in this class anyway... now, we will potentially be closer to maxing out the 25 limit, if the staff chooses to go that route.

Non qualifiers don't count towards our 85 total do they?

What do you mean "back counted?" We are near the 85 limit, which is why we cant have a full class. They cannot make the scholarship count if the kid is not here. Thus it opens up 3 more spots.

Besides you are the one that knows all things Auburn. You tell us what is going to happen.

I can't imagine that would be the case. If they aren't on scholarship, why in the world would they count toward your total of 85 scholarships?

I think they will. The mantra is recruiting seems to be get what you cant now and worry about the future later. That is why we signed 7 OL in he last class. Thus they will probably fill all open spots they can.

Oh okay, I was talking about the 85 total and not back-counting on this class. Thanks for the clarification
