Did I not see something about Golson wanting to attend school outa state? Some kids just want to get away. While I understand wanting to get out of Alabama, going to Mississippi seems to be a step backwards......

At the Alabama High School awards thingy last week Golson was interviewed and was asked the things about a school that would sell him on it: "family" feel, atmosphere, and depth chart. Freeze has got this family fun thing going on - the talent at Ole Miss Golson made a point of pointing out - and depth chart: he ain't seeing the field at Auburn from many a year.

Agreed. Given the last couple of OL recruiting classes, seems like it'd be a hard sell this year and next. We need to get our recruiting by position more evened out......

Stop dwelling on useless bullshite. That's all.

It's not useless bullshite. I'm looking at it through a recruits perspective. When you combine all the factors against us and the fact that this class was heavy on defense and we hired an offensive guy, decommits happen. It's not a slam on Gus, it's just an observation on why guys like Liner and Foster and a few others may have changed their mind.

You can not have a observation like that on here. You are melting down. GTFO

Peyton Barber has lined up all his OVs and we're not one of them, so I'd say he's not coming. Green announces on Saturday, and I still feel like we're right there. However...if he goes ahead and chooses Michigan, like is expected, I'd put some money on Tarean flipping to us. He said he was going to "see how things play out," and I think this is what he was talking about.

it has come to my attention that there is some blatant sharing of premium info on this thread. I don't think anyone should be asking for premium info to be shared on here. If someone wants to freely and briefly summarize recruiting news, I suppose you are allowed to do that. News is news.

But nothing should be copied and pasted from a premium site. Thanks

Chicken, going back through the pages the only copy/pasting I see is tweets and free articles. Various requests for subscribers to "summarize updates" as well. I am obviously not criticizing you, but can you give us clearer parameters to work under so that you do to have to monitor the thread?

My guess:

Chicken received an email from a pay-site saying premium info was being stolen/posted here.

Chicken thus made his post because it is against the rules here and he will enforce it. However, I also get the sense that Chicken is annoyed by the email/pay-sites, as it appears people are attempting to claim copyright over news/history, which can't be done.

If you get something from a pay site and share that info, just do it in your own words and give credit to the source if necessary.

FWIW, I haven't seen any copy and pasting of premium info in the last 10 pages or so. I haven't paid much attention to this thread beyond that.

If you get stuff from premium sites and post stuff here, you should summarize and include your source. If you have free articles, tweets, etc..you always should provide the link. This is just MO.

Earnest Robinson no longer in the top 100. Was #45.
