This. If he does some NSD flip, I will have zero respect for him no matter how good he turns out to be.

Bama still owes us one for the cut & past de-commit letter from Reuben Foster so I could totally see this happening

The only way for Auburn to stop the trolling is to win. Until that happens all we can do is blow hot-air and pull stupid stunts like the Trooper letter

The thing about Bama & Liner is do they really need and/or want him or is it just to keep him from singing with Auburn?

He's incredibly talented at his position, he has a high ceiling, and he's an in-state recruit. Getting him from us is just a perk (a la Yeldon)

BOL is just talking crap because MF's article on rivals claiming we arent going to get any of our top targets and everyone good is going to decommit. He is just trying to convince our recruits they are all lying to each other and are secretly going somewhere else so they will panic and look at other schools. All of the claims about Dee going to Bama have been hearsay and he was recruiting for Auburn at the All Star game. Feb 6th will tell the truth.

I'm wondering the same thing. It's almost like we all assumed he would flip, and since he hasn't, he's trolling us even more making us think he might actually stick (that's quite the mind-frick). If he does flip, it will more than likely be last minute so the Auburn coaches don't have enough time to find a quality back-up plan. It would be a bitch move on his part, but this is recruiting and anything can happen...

Do you really think that's what this kid has in mind, to stick it to Auburn? Do you really?

Did you remember Yeldon? Doing something like that makes a statement to their future teammates, and I'm sure it puts a smirk on their coaches' faces. Don't underestimate rivalries and teenagers.

Not him.

But the Alabama coaching staff? Hell yes.

He's a lifelong Auburn fan. I doubt he would want to screw us. Could it happen? Yeah but I don't think it's likely.

Carl Lawson might take an OV to AU before signing day now. Bryan Matthews says chances are increasing.

I think we get all 3, to be perfectly honest. I'll sweat Liner some the morning of NSD, but I actually feel pretty confident on him. I think he's trolling Bama.

Not much really. The Lawson note in my last post, In good shape to land Payton Barber. Coaches meeting as a full staff for the first time Wednesday and Thursday.

His highlight film looks decent, but his opponent all look very undersized. Based on his offer sheet (I know, its not the best way to judge players), no one has been willing to give him an offer. I wonder if he's willing to walk-on.

Barber is a must-get IMO. He's picking up new offers everyday.

Why is a three star RB a "must get" for this class? Honest question.

He has great stats at a high GA level of competition, his film looks solid, athletic measurables are there and he would probably lock down Carl Lawson?

Since the Frazier failure, i stop looking at stars.

Barber played at Milton, which is in the top classification in Ga.(with Jones and Kamara)

He has great size and played strong competition.
