Both Jason Smith and Jeremy Johnson remain fully committed to Malzahn. Seals the deal on both.

Wilkins still committed but visiting around and is setting up visit date with AU.
Artis-Payne is committed but Utah may be the front runner.
Derrick Green down to 50%. Bryant eliminated AU.

Dijon Paschal is now going to be looked at by AU.. 15% chance he signs with AU. Earnest Robinson thrilled with Malzahn.

Both Carlson and Hutchinson are firm.

Nothing new on Arshad Jackson.

Khaliel Rodgers up to 35%.. likes the hire.

He needs to go visit Liner, Lawson, Johnson and Foster yesterday. What's he waiting on? These are arguably our 4 biggest recruits and the ones in the most limbo now, and Malzahn has yet to visit them. These are the first 4 he should have visited. That's ridiculous.

Toney deserved the first visit more than anybody else. He's gone to war for Auburn as a recruit. Reward the kid with the first visit. All the other recruits that can't decide on their future can wait. Either get on board or get left off.

One recruiting class will not make or break this football program.

He visited Trey Johnson today.

He's probably waiting on them to agree to schedule a visit. Calm down. Recruiting doesn't work like door to door sales. You can't just show up at their house. If you don't think he doesn't realize these guys are a high priority, you're just being ridiculous.

Who said he didn't?

Might help them decide if they get visited by the new Head Coach.

And I agree that one recruiting class won't make or break a program, but when you lose players like TJ Yeldon, Cyrus Kouandjio, Dee Liner, Reuben Foster, Trey Johnson, and possibly Carl Lawson, it takes a heavy toll.

He couldn't visit Johnson today but Ellis is going to visit with him and his family this weekend.

Auburn coach Gus Malzahn visited 4-star linebacker Zach Cunningham from Pinson Valley in Pinson, Ala., earlier today. Cunningham doesn't yet have an offer from the Tigers but sources indicate he is a favorite of new defensive coordinator Ellis Johnson.

Nobody. One could assume it was being implied when the poster you quoted said "These are the first 4 he should've visited" (talking about Liner, Lawson, Foster, Johnson).

Are you trying to imply that Malzahn doesn't have plans to visit them? Please don't go that route.

You don't lose players you never had. There was no chance you were ever going to see Yeldon and Kouandijo playing for AU (even if they were "committed").. Same will probably be said for Liner in the near future. Yeah we've lost a lot of players but that is far from where the problem is, in my opinion.

I think Cunningham was the kid that started the season as either unrated or a low 3 star and blew up during the year.
