Question about Mason (for those at the game). He seems to hit the hole fast, has power as well, but to me, he seemed to lack the top end speed when he got in the open. Was he fast live? Does he have break away speed?

He never really got into the open.

In his words he just couldn't break it past the safeties (either by breaking tackles or making them miss) to truly be in the open.

Mason hit the holes fast, I like how he doesn't dance around behind the line of scrimmage. To clemson's credit (unlike AU) their secondary took good angles and didn't miss tackles in open space.

Pretty much this...though (and obviously so) i wish he had broken that shoe string tackle that woudl have shown us his open field/top end speed, but a little clip of the ankle prevented this.

He was one breaking one tackle away from being gone a few times in that game.

Why would anyone want to be an admin?

Just curious I really don't know what a benefit would be

I mean, do they pay you?

The d-line (not including the DE's) only had 5 tackles on the night

Well, there is good reason to be.

This will be a very ugly losing season, if we lose to MSU this week.

I was most worried about the offense to start the season. Obviously, my concern with the brand new OL and a offensive coordinator that's younger than me in his first big time job were unfounded. I should have been concerned with the defense and the coordinator with an excellent resume and who returned a shitload of starters.......

Yea, I liked that our team never gave up, but just the way the defense played makes me want to puke

And it's not like Clemson has a great D. They had 70 hung on them their last game of the year and we scored.... 19

Whatever... We have to beat MSU or I could see things getting very ugly

Tyler Russel is no Taj Boyd. None of their running backs are as good as Ellington. I strongly believe Dismukes is back and will shore up the line considerably. I believe Frazier will show marked improvement. Two 100 yd games for Mason, McAlleb.

Truth, I don't see a close game. I will be here to eat crow if wrong, but just my prediction.
