1. Where is the jet sweep this year? Watching the Jags and Corey Grant, man we miss that element in the offense. Is Eli just not back to 100%, do we not trust Schwartz yet?

2. This is going to come across as whiny, but what can be done about faking injuries? LSU had SEVERAL yesterday, especially in the second half, and always after we were moving the ball. I wish there was a way the NCAA could address this but not sure how they do it.

I would love to see Boobie in with Shivers doing the Omac in motion.

All our talent on offense is in the QB and receivers. Oline and backs aren't there yet.

How did Gus get so bad at coaching a passing game since he was at Tulsa? Didn't they lead the country in passing when he was there? Why does he suck at it now?

Why ask why. Just drink and then drink some more.

I think shivers ran it once but it worked so they didn't do it anymore

Personnel mismanagement. Boobie in the backfield, Shivers on the jet and schwartz on the bomb

I'm not sure if it worked once or not. I do remember us running it and it lost about 5 yards.

This came up at our house while watching the game.

I think as you see more and more teams going to the no huddle/speed offense, the injury rules do need to be tweaked. I think maybe have an injured player sit out more than one play (maybe say 5), that would cut down on the "injuries" that are to just stop the clock/slow down play.

Either that or have a non-partisan medical staff that attends to/examines each player. If there is not real injury, then 15 yard penalty.

Back then his offense was knew and all the eye candy hadn't been seen before. Now, defenses know who to follow and when in doubt play at least a single high safety to eliminate the over the top throw knowing that the intermediate over the middle routes aren't in the passing tree. Defend the flats/bubble screens, the 10-12 yard outs, and the sideline go routes and you defend 90% of the passing game.

Tulsa QBs were not throwing against LSU defensive backs.
