So a kid,that didn’t play in hardly any games all year hits 6 threes in the first half and we lose by 6, with some awful officiating

Still #1 on KenPom right now. Defense took a hit which isn’t shocking considering they did not tick many efficiency boxes. Offense is still #1.
ETA: currently #5 in SOS. The only schools with a better SOS are small schools that are very lowly ranked and likely got paid this first part of the season.

Bruce was just on with the Field of 68 guys. Said Duke was really talented and good. Also,thought Flagg got a NBA whistle in Cameron and Duke would run the ACC. also said opposing coaches will pull,their hair out if Flagg gets that whistle in Cameron every game.

Not what we wanted, but in the past Auburn #1 bad things start happening, so I'm okay with not being #1 in the middle of the season.

I don't think we'll drop much in the rankings, if at all, if we take care of Richmond.

Very well could stay at 2. Tenn will likely move to 1 because they’re undefeated, but their schedule so far sucks. There’s honestly a chance we move to #1. I think we still get a good number of #1 votes.

Would,not be surprised if Duke moved to 1, just cause of the Great White Hype of Flagg. Could see us being 3 or 4.

I think sports center showed more highlights of this game than they have of the rest of our games combined.

We lost the game in the last two min of the first half and first two of the second. Gave up 2 threes off a terrible turnover and offensive rebound and then the 5 point possession off the lame flagrant. An 11 point swing we just couldn't quite overcome

This might be an unpopular opinion here. And I will preface my statement by saying I really think CBM is a fantastic player.
CBM's " antics" on the court is going to cost this team a big game or 2 down the stretch. I really feel this was a big reason why Auburn lost to Yale last season. I was really hoping that because of his actions in the game on that big of a stage against Yale last year that he would have learned a tough lesson that actions have consequences. Unfortunately so far this season I don't think he's learned that.

Not a bad showing. Duke is very talented. Duke has a real shot at the final four if they mature and stay healthy.
Thought our D was not great at times. We left shooters wide open. Flagg is really, really good. Duke's guards played really well tonight and they often do not.
Cardwell and Jones were non-factors which hurt. JJ was also a no show.
Pettiford is going to be the man going forward at guard. He has to be. Broome had a really good game as well.
I thought we lost the game when Pearl went to a lineup in the first half with 3 non-scorers on the court at the same time for about 4 minutes. We went from being up like 8 to down 4.

I think a bunch of the weird rotations were due to foul trouble. Especially at the end of the first half and start of the second half.

Yup. We had 4 guys with 2 fouls very early on
