I cannot believe I couldn't jump on during signing period today. 
I was calling on customers in the mountains today. Looks like we had a great recruiting class. Dang it on Enzie Alexander. I feel great about many of the others.
My most favorite was Lawson and I feel Barber is going to be a steal. I believe we have some receivers who are going to make us happy. Overall HOT DAMN!

I would have but one of the customers I had to call is kind of a big deal in the works, and I had to present our machine package to their board. I wanted to say, Do you all not know what today is you MFers.

I thought they passed on Cunningham a week or two ago so I wasn't expecting him at all and Folston wasn't leaving Notre Dame for the last couple weeks so I didn't see that either.
Gus says that we are at 23 for now. How else are we looking at? I would just assume take a pass on Toby Johnson and keep that spot for next year's class. Anyone else still out there for grabs?
I have been a big fan of Lawson and Adams for a long time and I am really happy about getting both of those and adding Daniel is awesome to boot. I hate that we missed on Bower but I thought he was gone when I saw that he said he hadn't faxed his LOI first thing this morning. I really think he was delaying until Daniel put his through and then went with his other choices.
Malzahn also said he thought this was the best receiver class, not sure he meant that he had or in the country. In the county would be hard to imagine with A&M's group of 6 or 7 studs.

Neither of those were misses. Auburn conceded Folston to ND a while ago and Cunningham didn't even have an offer.

The coaches did not believe that Cunningham fit well in this defense.
They had extra scholarships (see: holding out for both Toby Johnson and Corn Elder) and they've known that Foster wasn't coming for at least 2-3 days now. If they wanted Cunningham they would have made a move on him. They didn't.

Can't say I really disagree. I don't think he will ever have the size for one of the MLB positions, so really it probably was a simple matter of asking Johnson if he wanted him for the spur position or not.

Those were at best rumors. Missing on Foster doesn't all of a sudden make Cunningham a 'fit'. Furthermore; they didn't bother to sign a replacement for Foster either, which makes me believe that they had no reason to all of a sudden change their mind on Cunningham.

Cunningham would've played Star not LB. we already had Harding and King for that so no reason to go for a scrub to replace him. We would've liked to have him but no big deal that we didn't.
