Am I the only one that wants to trade Freeman (even Julio)? I know we can't trade Julio seeing as how we just paid him a shite ton. I'd gladly take a 3rd rounder for Freeman. He got absolutely abused last night by the Saints.
He's never been a good blocker (see the Super Bowl) and I just simply think he's regressed.

We really need a DE/CB/Oline AGAIN in this draft. Doubt Chase young falls to us so we probably need to go CB or maybe even DT. Thoughts?

Freeman is a shell of his former self.

Should have traded freeman at the deadline or last offseason before he regressed even more. His value has to be at an all-time low. Julio should command an immense return in a perfect market but I don’t know if many teams will want to do that deal.

But, we also have one of the worst owners in terms of staying out of the teams way. He’s a players owner. I don’t it’s a big secret that Blank is the reason Freeman and Julio have their deals. And then his “Falcon for life” comment before negotiations for JJ even began, sending all leverage out the door with it.

Blank would thrive in a non-salary cap NFL.

Not taking the trade offer from the Lions was football malpractice.

What are the thoughts on Chase Young after the last 2 games?

He’s been a non factor.

I dunno about him being a non factor. Even if he has 0 sacks he’s usually double teamed which means he’s a factor.

Doesn’t matter though, doubt we have a shot getting him unless we get to #2

Another good thing is we have 4 picks in the first 3 rounds thanks to the NE trade.

Didn't look like it Sunday.I thought he looked pretty damn good.
Of course our OL is also playing much better.

He looked good yesterday but so did Brian Hill. Freeman should have been traded to the Lions this season. I think he's at or near the top of the list of cap casualties in the offseason.

Freeman’s contract should be illegal.

First Round: Defense. Best Player Available. If in earshot, would be willing to trade up for Derrick Brown.

Second Round: More Defense. Perhaps a tight-end if Hoop is too expensive.

Second Round, part-deaux: Premium Running Back, if available (Jonathan Taylor, Najee Harris)

Third Round-End of Draft: defensive and offensive lineman

I think Najee Harris is supremely underrated. Of course I’m a Bama fan but look at what he did against LSU and Auburn when we had an injured Tua and a backup QB.
He literally put Bama’s offense on his back and almost won them both games.

But I do t want a RB until 3rd rd or later.

O-line?I'd say we look pretty damn solid.Lindstrom and McGary both look like they're gonna be studs.Gotta find a replacement for Mack eventually and maybe get someone to take Schweitzer's place.

Blowing up the team would be stupid.

Pass rush, pass rush, pass rush. Beasley and Campbell will be gone in free agency and Takk has been very underwhelming. I'd look at beefing up the perimeter front seven (DE and OLB). Also may potentially need to find a starting center if Mack becomes a cap casualty.
