Do we just stop playing in these situations?? Why can we not just comfortably close these things out??

It's simply not been a good defense at playing the prevent.

So stop playing prevent and play the defense that shut them down for 3 quarters. Simple adjustment that you would think they would consider after the biggest Super Bowl collapse ever.

Agree with this. We back off a bit and give up short passes in these situations. The pass rush gets tired and then can't dial it back up when necessary.

I refuse to be a chicken little up 11 with 5+ minutes left simply because of the Super Bowl.
