he's playing the hardest position to adjust from college to the NFL.

I'd say QB and and OL (specifically center) are just a TAD more difficult.

He's the 4th player picked and needs to show up asap.

Just look at the history of rookie TEs and how much they all struggle.

Jalen Mayfield looks awful today.

I picked Philly to win the game. Then my homerism took over and I switched to ATL!

Did same thing day before UGA/Clemson game

Hopefully this works out how the Dawgs game did.

Do you actually TE is a more difficult for a rookie than center or QB?

Do you think they have close to the same responsibilities and decisions over the course of a game?

C'mon

There is a long history of good rookie QB play. Not so much with TE. The difference in physicality between college and the NFL for TEs is a big reason why they struggle so much as rookies.

Once again we have a stadium without a home field advantage.
But when half the country moves here from their shitty cities like Philly and Nola, it is what it is.

Good thing Atlanta ran the ball 3 times there and gave it right back before the half. Would hate to see us not be down a touch going into the half .

The coaching is pretty rough from what I can see. Running 3 times with no attempt at a first down right before the half. No attempt at a Spy on Hurts. He's running at will. A college team at Georgia did a better job on forcing him to throw.

Do we really need to talk about all the QB's drafted in the first round who flamed out?

BTW how many of those TE's were taken with the 4th pick?

Sorry, there's a higher standard the higher you're drafted.

We’re running the ball well. We need to get the ball to Pitts and Ridley in the passing game, but I don’t think Smith trusts our pass blocking.

The defense sucks, but that’s just typical Atlanta.

The league is built to create close games. Atlanta has been poorly coached and has not played good situational football for a long time.

Must fix that. Immediately. So far Arthur isn't performing well in that area. We will see what happens. Long year.

What a loser mentality on that last possession. Conservative calls like this is how you lose game.

Hurts looks comfy.
Ryan looked unsettled.

O line is important.

No running game and get sacked like crazy on pass plays.
